Kojima Productions - “we continue to have a very good partnership with PlayStation”

Isn't this the game that Kojima pitched to Sony and Sony said no? If so, why do 'fanboys' blame Kojima? What is up with people wanting games to be canceled, because they are not on PS? Just like with pc ports of PS games.

Nicely said and from a gamers perspective, it's nice to see different projects with different tech. So much nice stuff coming up, so much variety and still so many of 'us' are complaining about every aspect. 'If it's not for me, it sucks' is a very close minded way of thinking.

Im worried with his Cloud Gaming approach. But hes surely trying something innovative . Which nit a lot Devs can Afford.

Somebody tries something new with the support of a company who can give him the bucks and time. So if it is gonna be a succes or not, at least it seems they don't go for half the effort, if i make sense.

It can suck, but nice try.

And if it really is an idea he has for a long time, i'll bet he's thrilled to be able to do it with the rescources he need for it. If it fails, he knows that he tried it with the right gear for it and never has to wonder if it would have gone better with better tech.
 
Kojima wants everyone to play his games, he is a true artists. Sadly, he has to get funding, and these publishes fund his games very well, but he has to strike an exclusive deal with them. Its sad when Ubisoft can create shitty games and have the biggest production budgets in gaming, but an artists like Kojima has to go beg sony/microsoft for money
 
What kind of soap opera is playing out in fanboys head about the industry I'll never fully understand…

The unfortunate plight of independent artists and studios but I hope he stays independent, the more people that can play his games, the better.

It's so fucking weird this has to be said. The man can work with who he wants without the need to please another fanbase, people need stop idolizing him.
 
Are we back to the power of the cloud days? I didn't know this game was supposed to use the cloud in some fashion. I wonder if it'll be streaming only... But it'll probably have an online-only requirement regardless. Weird
 
Kojiman make sure the PC versions are neat and tidy like MGS5 and death stranding. Grade A PC ports.

Time and time again shows that Sony fanboys are by a landslide the most toxic and pathetic.
 
So it seems like Kojima productions is working on three projects.
The experimental cloud game that is still far off with MS.
Death Stranding 2 for PS5 leaked by Reedus and other sources.
And then there's Overdose that seems to be a horror game maybe related to SH. An other Sony collaboration or multiplatform?

They have their hands full anyway given they're a small studio.

I'll bite.

Because he made MGS5 which is one of the best games ever made and Death Stranding is genius in how to make the player think, plan and execute movement though a world. Emergent gameplay in both cases. Yes, his stories are ludicrous, but I play games for gameplay and his are top-tier.
 
I don't mind when developers stop making games for the blue console I own, and decide to start making games for the green console I also own.

He makes good games, it's as simple as that.

And this. He's 100% in the 'auteur' game directing category, and even if you have a passing interest in games and game design, his works are always worth a look.

so everyone loves kojima now. both PS and xbox fans, as both of you will get exclusive games from him. the fight will turn into who has the better kojima game.
