Sony fanboys are always a good example of tribalism. People will get tribal about anything, sports, iphone vs Android, it's in our DNA. Too many people just need to feel like they're part of the best group, because evolution. We're walking around with brains that are millions of years old, there have been no design improvements. This is a perfect example of it.

I'd add rockstar to that list. Early 00s trash mission design, terrible controls but the games get 95+ score on metacritic.
I love the fact that no one here played the game yet they know that it's a 10/10.

I mean I'm saying this as a "Sony pony" that the only reason I gravitate towards them is strictly because of how much I like their games. Microsoft's outputs isn't interesting to me, Nintendo makes a few games a generation I want to play, I have a PC for games that I prefer with a mouse and keyboard but honestly if things just aren't to my liking the worst thing that could happen is I quit gaming and find a new hobby. I already bike, go camping, hiking, etc so games are just another thing I do. Maybe I'll do puzzles or scale models instead but nothing about a video game could irritate me to the point I'll feel like threatening someone's life over a video game.
