When you look at the heat map though, it's mostly out of the danger possession vs Germany mostly playing at the second half of CR.
 
I think even if they draw Japan goes through due to them winning vs Germany? Or they gonna go for goals scored as they are all 0 difference.

Ball seems out for that second Japan goal, but fuck it I want to watch entertaining football and japan is giving us that.

I ain't one to start peddling conspiracy theories but it seems to me it would be real convenient for the Spanish if ze Germans go out

They fucking had 1,058 passes, they nearly passed out from over-passing. The Japanese were just too clinical with their very shy 17% possession.
