Technically, the government could permanently end all forms of taxation tomorrow. There’s no way to say it’s impossible. And it does sound more likely than an expensive game skipping largest console base that could run it (absent an exclusive deal or buyout).

Zenimax released Skyrim on PS.
Zenimax was making Starfield, before MS started the purchase.
If MS hadn't purchased them, Starfield would have hit down PS.
But since MS bought the company, there was no plans for PS, because it's Xbox 1st party game now, after the purchase.

I would assume the same thing. In either of the other two really. Not sure if there’s risk anywhere else MS would worry too much about. But my assumption assumes the escalating fee is real. If it’s static MS might fight all the way to the end.
