65 minutes to queue up now.
That's really painful. Did they severely underestimate server capacity?
Still happy I got to try it. Looking forward to jumping on a bit later if I can. Seems it might be quite popular.
 
Going to play Halo and some Solasta later but will log in at 11pm GMT to see how the queue looks. I can suffer with no sleep just for one night I guess!
 
This will be the launch experience aswell so better prepare for it. Im not mad i just want to continue because it already feels so damn good :D

I felt the opposite, combat of the barb feels weighty, which is good. Feels a lot better dan D3.

I am still in the game but I cannot start it as it gives an error.

True....but it's not like they don't know what they need (D3)....and maybe prepare for the beta?
 
Meathead the barbarian got booted and now it's a 100 min login queue. Average Blizz beta experience.
 
Disconnected too and a queue of 65 min now. :D

Got to level 3 on my sorcerer but then got kicked for some reason. Now an hour queue (PS5). Luckily I can just let that run in the other room while I fuck around on the computer.
 
Good lord. They didn't even last an hour. At least I got to see the cinematics and character creator; really impressed with the visual aesthetics. Definitely not at all as whimsical as D3 was and even more mature looking than Immortal.
 
People should seriously check out Wolcen (on PC though), it's similar in quality to this (potentially better animation/combat wise). Might help with the wait...

Yeah there isn't really an excuse for this. Plenty of games manage to have beta tests without any major issues. Blizzard should have put a fuck load servers on ready for this. They would have a good idea of how many people could enter with codes redeemed and preorders placed.

Either they are incompetent or they are doing this to add some drama so more people talk about it and want to try the game.
 
Got booted after making a barb. Playing on a Series S. Curious about the graphics. Haven't seen in game yet. Queued ... 11 mins left.

Barb is named Yeti.

Yes, barb is much better; especially the lunge attack.

I also got about 15 mins in on a sorcerer, which was more 'floaty', but to be fair it always is.

We have stockholm syndrome with Blizzard. Everytime we tell ourselves, they should of figured it by now, it'll be okay

Wish the game had WASD movement. Absolutely can't stand click to move and don't like playing games on controller.

What makes controller even worse is not being able to aim with the right stick. Makes no sense.

Why does the game in the battle.net launcher say "This game cannot be played yet." when I hover over the play button? Didn't it go "live" at noon EST? I know there are issues ...

edit : DISREGARD. Had to open and close battle.net twice to make it go away.

I know it's a stress test, but what were they expecting?
