The guy pretty much doesn’t see how MS gets this overturned, and gives it a slim chance it goes to phase 2 again. Which if it goes MS will have to offer way more behavioral remedies which CMA has already stated is not the path forward.
The sheer peer pressure to leave the door open for the wacky to happen though.
Loved his explanation about what companies actually care about in terms of regulation and the sheer scale of the tech sector that goes way beyond MS and M&A was very sobering. Brought a lot of people down to reality I imagine.

He also dismissed this silliness folks like Pachter have been spreading about how Microsoft can spin off some branch of ABK that operates solely in the UK.....blah blah blah. No, he said it plain. Any bullshit plan anyone is going to come up with like this is predicated on one thing: Microsoft acquiring ABK. People need to get that through their skulls. Microsoft cannot acquire ABK. There is no corporate structure they can concoct that makes this all work. They have to work through the regulatory process just like the rest of the world.
Microsoft has one path forward. 1) Convince the CAT that some of the CMA's findings are irrational or not legally sound. 2) Go back to the CMA and try and find some common ground to work on from that ruling in the renewed Phase 2 3) Hope all the public statements ridiculing the CMA does come back to bite them in their ass.

You know, I think Senju’s on to something. I remember all those PS3 exclusives that were scoring 90’s when they would’ve been 40’s and 50’s on 360. Geji, Lair, Untold Legends, Drakengard 3, Haze, Last Rebellion. All 90+ on PS3 that would have been a 40 if they were Xbox 360 exclusives

I mean, I’m sure there some truth in it. I’m sure there lot of reviewers that become hardcore fan boys when they was younger during the PlayStation or ps2 era. Now here they are adults and reviewing games. You can’t say they’re not some bias then. But it is what it is. Just read the some different type reviews, u get idea what the game like and watch some streamers.

Hasn't been anything since the EC decision and then the gamers pi failing.
Next real fixed date to watch out for afaik would be around July when the current deal deadline comes. We are also waiting on the whole CAT appeal process to potentially start but no real dates on that yet.

Not 100% sure, I think it might be from the date of the Order and not the report so that would be mid-June.
All will be clearer in 3-4 weeks so will just keep an eye on it.
