We are talking about dealings with government regulators. Do yourself a favor and figure out what is being discussed here.

After watching the regulation process throughout this, it does appear that way for most countries. Considering what their mission statement is (protect competition, protect consumers, etc.), it's rather frustrating.

And we're the ones, the regulars in here, who are supposedly the emotionally imbalanced on the verge of melting down.

You're going to have to keep up with the thread for yourself sorry.

My point was to say that this process doesn't follow the assumed timescales we here (or on Ree) might have - it follows the normal legal timescales.

And that principle extends to the other aspects of the case - the Judge isn't tearing up the normal playbook for this.

In fact for a high profile case, she is probably giving it more scrutiny to get to the correct decision.
No idea what your first sentence has to do with what I said.

So what is the tendance, will this deal go trough or not? Reading the last 2 pages it seems like a decision has been made?
Sorry, I'm not really following this topic and I'm a noob in this financial discussion

Three things that suggest there could possibly be good news for the aquisition:

1, Certain movement in the stock market that could gain alot from the aquisition going through.

2, Insider on NeoGaf sees sudden positivity from one camp.

3, Mercury is in microwave.

I don't know what to bet anymore. But era is 100% of decision coming Monday dening PI and that MS will close the deal before July 18th and ignore CMA.

One fact if they didn't think to close the deal before July 18th they would not push so hard to end FTC trial so fast.

So if the decision come out Monday or any day this week I think they will close the deal.

It will be super hard for CMA to sustain the decison with the deal closed.
And if the ftc wins it's game over.

No it won't. A ruling in favor of no injunction has no bearing on the CMA case. If MS close the deal without CMA approval they are taking a massive gamble that could end extremely poorly, see: meta/giphy

The injunction also has no bearing on the FTC case, although it may cause the FTC to withdrawal its suit

What exactly is the final decision?
Was it the CMA blocking the deal?
Will it be when the judge grant or deny the PI?
Will it be CAT decision?

Your last day, when you are at the doors of heaven. And Jesus needs to decide whether you are allowed in or not.
People who supported the deal will go straight to hell.

Just here to memorize the fact we made it to page 1337 with still no final decision on this.

Damn the copium in this thread since HeisenbergFX4 HeisenbergFX4 said what he said…..no decision yet. Continue to discuss how much Phil is a liar or something.
No point in discussing a fact ... everyone already knows he is a liar, we are discussing things that aren't set on paper yet, is more fun to speculate, the papers on phils lies are avaible in multiple documents online, no fun in that , just boring research

It's already been pretty well established most people on that site are idiots who can't handle dissenting views on any topic.

I preferred they leaving long successful third party multiplat developers/publishers the fuck alone and make their own games with the 20+ studios they already CANT manage properly
You are being overtly harsh, the next generation of Xbox games are on the Horizon starting with Starfield. But yea when it comes to making games they are clueless.

I wonder if anyone actually entered to win this and would admit it.
If ever there was game to highlight the dysfunctionality of MS/Xbox management... so here we have the marketing running away with itself, whilst clearly no-one played the game or worse they did and no-one realised it was a turkey. Truly head scratching moment.

Exactly the opposite.
If they close the deal over the CMA, the CMA will double down on the block because of the disrespect MS would be showing over the UK's law.
If they change their decision because of the deal being closed over them, they will make the UK look ultra weak to the rest of the world and, after brexit, that's the last thing they'll need.

If to be honest, if talking about the exlusive titles, and even cloud gaming, Sony are having/were having/did have them all. Sony's exclusive aint less than, what MS has to offer. At the same time, if you dont have a PS-console, you cant play them and you have to wait for them to come on PC (if they ever will come) for a long time, and who knows how the PS - PC port will be like. In nowadays, in that scenario MS has the console option and/or for PC. And talking about cloud gaming, didnt Sony have acquired back in the days one of the cloud gaming services, whatever it was called ?
