I don't think I'll be able to function normally until this closes or doesn'tNo one should let their expectations change because of that order (either direction). It's a routine scheduling order. It might matter a great deal down the road, but only if MS is ordered not to close by a court first.
They say crazy attracts crazy. Never asume there is no female version of these. What woman would marry such sex-starved nerds jacking off over a corporation video game acquisition?
The mods wouldn't dare cross mei remember getting a mod warning for putting twitter drama.
I mean, one or two tweets is fine I guess. but this?![]()

Just want to say that if this deal closes over the weekend, I MAY cum in my pants. There is no guarantee I WILL but there is a high chance.

I knowPeople are stupid.
Look at reddit, youtube and other sections of social media.
From sporting to movies to comics, you get clowns like these days.
These people have made their lives about these subjects. Its one of the reason why I dont want to get involved with social media that much.
Part of me wants to see them take the scorched earth approach.Yep, Microsoft are closing regardless then.
Gonna get spicy.
Time to play rd2. Good luck with your crazy adventure everyone.
This thread deserves the epic finalePart of me wants to see them take the scorched earth approach.
28 years of marriage tells me "opposites attract". That's the case for me anyway.
And when I say "opposites attract", that is to say......my wife isn't the crazy one.

It depends on what the concessions are...Ms makes some concessions pays some fines, cma looks like they did something stood up and made ms play by there rules. Could the end be this anti climatic?
We need gamers for gamers in office 2024Folks need to separate politics from this deal.
Even though Lina is clearly political in her actions, we don't have to follow suit.
Changing your mind about the deal because democrats support the FTC or the other way around with people like Jim Jordan obviously siding with what's best for the big corporation should not change your initial opinion.
This deal transcends politics and we know more about how this affects us way more than any of these politicians do.
It's a reference to Banjos tag which he got from a cum bet in another thread (or maybe this one but ages ago).I can't believe that a cum bet as come from this thread!
Can't really say if I'm being honest.Correct. But does my logic still stand, and if so, does this then help their stats if they back the FTC, because it won't get referred and that way their decision stands, yes?
For the damage the CMA will do to them long term, yes, but for the damage it will do to the industry and by extension PlayStation's finances and then their ability to fund their output I would prefer them to just unblock the deal with an Activision divestment.Part of me wants to see them take the scorched earth approach.

I read this somewhere else dunno how true it isWhat I wouldn't give for Kotick, come the 18th, to just say "Nah, I'm good", take his $3B, and continue being CEO of that greedy corp he runs.
I mean, why would Kotick want to leave right now? His life's goal is to make Call of Duty games every year and run the business. The Microsoft deal was something he did out of desperation to protect his own hide, which he has admittedly said is now not an issue with the company, and of course the stock has recovered well.
I don't know what a girth is but I wanna deep-fry it and eat it
I read this somewhere else dunno how true it is
Yes, but there's nuance to this, current stock price is tied to this transaction going through, if ABK walks away they might get $3B in cash on hand, which is not guaranteed to be paid in dividends to investors short-term, but how much investors will actually lose in market valuation? Not only that but it's quite common for CEOs and the like to tie their bonus to stock performance, so I would believe they would keep the transaction at the very least until their next bonuses are attributed.
Maybe Phil promised him a MS job? Maybe he's tired of it and wants to fly on his helicopter all day? Try something new? Who knows lolThey may lose a bit short term. Stock price was around $80 when people thought it was mostly dead. Maybe it'd sink back to mid 70s or something.
But why does Bobby Kotick care about a short term 26% gain in stock price vs. being the fucking CEO of the company and seeing it grow over 800% the last decade? He can just be CEO, have his fun, and continue growing the company and maybe be even richer rather than doing a short term sellout solution
Seems like he sold out only because he thought the end was near for him. Now it's not. No idea why he'd want to sell out now.

Isn't he still facing a bunch of stuff in California with blizzard? Maybe he fears that too? Whatever it is Bobby seems to have a good business sense and wins at everything so I'm sure there's a method behind the madness here.Guys like Bobby never want to quit. It's not in their blood.

Bobby Kotick Breaks His Silence: Embattled Activision CEO Addresses Toxic Workforce Claims as Microsoft Deal Hangs in Balance
Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick has broken his silence on the toxic workforce claims as he attempts to close a massive Microsoft deal.variety.com
"We've had every possible form of investigation done. And we did not have a systemic issue with harassment — ever. We didn't have any of what were mischaracterizations reported in the media," Kotick asserts. "But what we did have was a very aggressive labor movement working hard to try and destabilize the company."
His comments on the stand about Game Pass being "value destructive" are bizarre too. I get that he was under oath and being honest, but the judge is right - why in the world would you sell out to your company's demise? He can claim "the shareholders" all he wants, but I feel like that was the dishonest part about his statement. Nobody forces anyone to just take the highest bid that lands on your lap. That's not always in the best interest of the shareholders long term.
You know that's not going to happen. You know MSs end game. For the damage the CMA will do to them long term, yes, but for the damage it will do to the industry and by extension PlayStation's finances and then their ability to fund their output I would prefer them to just unblock the deal with an Activision divestment.
