Spider-Man 2, without a question.

I couldn't care less about Starfield, the only Bethesda game I've played and enjoyed with Fallout 3. Spider-Man and Miles Morales were a hell of a lot closer to what I'm looking for in a game.

I guess it would be Starfield.. but Starfield could also not meet my expectations/my expectations could be misplaced. Spiderman shouldn't have that problem at least. I'd rather have Elder Scrolls VI to be honest.

Spider man for sure. I m not into elder-guns games. Didn't like fallout. Not too hyped about starfield..

… unless I can make James t Kirk character and just swagger my way around the galaxy. Lol

Starfield is going to still be played by tens of thousands of people on a regular basis in 2033, assuming we don't nuke ourselves to the stone age in that time.

Hell I still give Oblivion a spin at least once a year.

Spiderman is going to be a massive tent pole title but I never had interest in the franchise. Starfield, assuming competency, interests me more for now. If it's not good I won't get either.

Spiderman 2 looks like more of the same...first game was Arkham with worse combat and a dead city. Still a good 8/10 game. Starfield has a higher celling but also can be a complete mess. I'm more intrigued by what it will be. FO3 is one of mt GOAT games, lets see how this goes.

I've got Spoder mens preordered and Fields of Stars shall be played through Game pass. I'm extremely pumped for both of em, though I guess if there's a gun to my head I'll choose star chasing before web swinging.

Starfield. Seems way more opportunities for interesting and thought provoking story telling than Super-Man ever could if the writing is up to snuff.

Spider man 2 i loved the first one, but the side quests really got repetitive towards the end. I think at around 90% completion it got boring.

I'll be buying (maybe not SM2 at launch date) and playing both, but I am more hyped for Starfield because it is not a rehash.

Starfield and it's not close. Spider-Man is boring as hell. Not sure why it scored close to 90 on Metacritic when it does absolutely nothing as an open-world. Huge, boring, and empty. The Batman Arkham series royally shits on it in near every metric and these games were released almost 10 years before.

I picked Spider-Man 2, because there's no way Starfield will live up to the hype. However, Spider-Man 2 is a known measure and the first 2 games were excellent and a ton of fun, so I'm ready for more of that.

I'm willing to give Starfield a shot though, hopefully it is the killer app MS needs right now, but I fear it'll be Cyberpunk 2.0, where the game is okay, but it'll need a year of updates before people start saying it's good.

Definitely Starfield. I love the Spider-man games, but It wasn't that long ago that I finished Mile Morales. Wasn't that long before Mile Morales that I finished the first game. Starfield, on the other hand, is offering something unique and it feels like it could very well be a once a generation game. Either way, I'll be playing both.

Starfield for me and it's not even close. I love rpgs. Nothing comes close to them when their done properly. A triple A open world space rpg? By Bethesda? Take my money immediately. My only concern with Starfield is bugs and performance. If they nail that, their gold.

Easily Starfield. Spiderman is an okay-ish open world action game. It has pretty good setpiece boss sequences, absolutely average af normal combat, and there is waaay too much of the latter. Not very much mission variety/interesting things happening with the characters, just a lot of the same beatemup combat again and again. Basically a Tomb Raider with swinging around a city instead of puzzles, which isn't nearly good enough of a replacement. Meanwhile Bestheda is unrivaled in their delivery of a variety of interesting gameplay and storylines. Yeah, they never have that Hollywood style rollercoaster presentation, but they are just a lot more interesting to me.

The Batman Arkham series royally shits on it in near every metric and these games were released almost 10 years before.
And stuff like Saints Row 3. Even Assassins Creed these days tends to mix it up in the missions more than Spider-man and they have a hell of a lot more to check out in terms of worldbuilding.

Both bitch, the fuck? lol

Fuck do I look like skipping open world goodness to then missout on some more open world goodness? smfh

You doing this wrong if you miss out on either tbh.
