I'd be upgrading from a QLED Q90t and primarily using this for pc and console gaming. Ty!
I'm actually waiting for G3 to drop in price. It's going to be my next tv.Get the G3 if you can the brightness boost is substantial. Otherwise get the C2, the C3 is just a slightly updated version.

I'm rocking with LG OLED B6 atm so it's time to upgrade.
Lol q90t? Umm why would you pick a worse tv over an OLED?I'd be upgrading from a QLED Q90t and primarily using this for pc and console gaming. Ty!
I have the 77" c3 because the c2 was sold out. Performance wise nah, only good thing you get with the c3 is a cooler menu to show you fps, vrr etc
You want the brightness of the c3 over any other. Though if brightness isn't your thing the Sony's still have the best image processing. Which means best upscaler as well.
Huh? I bought the q90t a few years ago…Lol q90t? Umm why would you pick a worse tv over an OLED?
Ah my bad I misunderstood.Huh? I bought the q90t a few years ago…
Have you considered the PhilipsI'd be upgrading from a QLED Q90t and primarily using this for pc and console gaming. Ty!
Never understood why Samsung does that. It's dumbIf Ur spending this much on a TV I would highly recommend not to buy a Samsung , no Dolby vision is a no buy for me personally.
If money is not a problem a95l since it's Sony and Google TV all the TV os sucks in comparisons
I've had the C3 for a while now, and the brightness is great, even in a sunlit room. Literally a non issue. I could see it being too bright for some and having to turn it down if it's actually a dark room.I have the C9 and the C1. The C1 is using the new panel style and is significantly brighter than my C9. If the C3 is much brighter than that, then you will need to wear sunglasses.
If c3 is that bright why do we need MLA and more brightness in g3 tbhI've had the C3 for a while now, and the brightness is great, even in a sunlit room. Literally a non issue. I could see it being too bright for some and having to turn it down if it's actually a dark room.
Brightness and black levels were big issues for me, and this has been more than enough. I suppose if you are in a very sunny room it would make a difference, but if you are looking for picture quality to that degree, I don't know why you would have such a sunny room in the first place. This panel is bright as hell, and possibly too bright for some in a dark room.If c3 is that bright why do we need MLA and more brightness in g3 tbh
What else does g3 has over c3 other than brightness
You mean CS? CX is before the C1 and not available anymore.Get the CX and call it a day. C3 cpu and a c2 screen. Loving it.
You are right!You

They fixed the auto dimming issues with the C3, and the only way to fix it on the C2 will void the warranty.
i went from a b7 to a c2 and this already was nuts.Damn going from a b6 to the G3 is gonna be wild, you're gonna love it.

I don't think the point of HDR is "create as much light as the sun so viewers are uncomfortable" BUT I might have that wrong.I just got the C3 but I don't think it's bright enough (for what I'd imagined HDR to be)
e.g. been watching Wheel of Time which is in Dolby Vision. Lots of outdoor scenes with the sun blaring down and yet it doesn't cause me to squint like I was expecting it to. Maybe I need to fiddle with the settings a bit more. Or my idea of what HDR is supposed to do is completely wrong.![]()
Not a concern with oled now. Also I want to avoid burn-in

I guess it depends on how long you expect to have the tv for and how long you use it daily.Still a concern for overall TV longevity, but less of a concern now for "premature" burn-in within the first few years.

I was concerned about it before I bought one, but I saw some videos on YouTube that tested Oled TVs over years with far more hours use per day than a normal person would have.
I guess if you're measuring ownership in decades then it might be worth looking at something else though.
How's it working out for you? Mine's not on as much as that, but no problems here.I have mine on about 15 hours - using it as a PC monitor when not gaming/watching.
I've only had it 72 hours so a long way to go yet, hopefully. How's it working out for you? Mine's not on as much as that, but no problems here.
