Familiar settings is so not Yakuza.Seeing that familar beach really makes this feel like an addon to the last Yakuza rather than its own thing.

This looks like fun but $59.99 isnt happening on my end. Once it's down to like $39.99 I'll bite. Never played a Yakuza or Judgement game I haven't enjoyed but if this is like the Kiryu stand alone then it's a Gaiden game.
Pirates not out yet, so you can play Lost JudgmentI can either jump in lost judgment or wait and go with this
I enjoyed 'Man Who Erased His Name' last year and I finished it (15 -20 hours). It's the only one I finished (have 0,6,7, Infinite) and really enjoyed it.Will pass one this one. I've never enjoyed the Yakuza side games. But I'll be there day 1 for the next main game.
it's sequel to Yakuza 6, for real it's more like Yakuza 6.5I enjoyed 'Man Who Erased His Name'

I did not like it. Story wise it was just fine. Rocket shoes or whatever that other stuff was...no.I played Man who Erased His Name and loved it.
By spin-offs I meant the stuff that is just goofy side adventures like this.
I think i'd get burnt out on yakuza-esque games though. I played like a dragon and infinite wealth was an option but it was just too much.Pirates not out yet, so you can play Lost Judgment
The series had basically used the same location for years before moving to Hawaii.Seeing that familar beach really makes this feel like an addon to the last Yakuza rather than its own thing.
no just lad 8Question for Yakuza experts: Are there any other Yakuza games with the part 7 combat system?
