Common sense is hard to find this days. This game or any games with same type of force and push for twisted agendas especially twisted gender ideology, for me I will not buy it regardless how good the reviews or how good its sales.

This! I just saw an Interplay reunion on the MetalJesusRocks Youtube channel and you could really tell that all of those people love videogames. Even after being retired for 30 years. Instead we let the mentally ill who hate gamers make videogames now.

What kills me is that they didn't even put in the effort to make the politics sound more archaic like they should. Non-binary is such a thoroughly modern term that it just feels jarring to hear it in a game that draws inspiration from medieval Europe for its setting. Could you imagine if black characters were referred to as black in game? Imagine Wyll in BG3 being called a black man. Everyone would recoil because it would feel so god damn out of place and anachronistic. The fact that they didn't even attempt to make their agenda at least fit the setting is a damn indictment.

That should be the end of it, right? We have more game options than ever and more power to vote with our wallets. If enough people do not buy this game or games that they do not like or believe should exist, publishers will stop funding these games. It's as simple as that. Creators create things they want to create and publisher fund things they can make a profit from.

EA isn't out here trying to win GLAAD awards, they're trying to sell games. Your money matters more to them than anything else.
 
I just played through Final Fantasy XVI and there was a gay scene with Dion that was done very tastfully. No preaching, just a quick scene and it took nothing away from how cool the character and made no real impact on the story other than to humanize the character. Bioware on the otherhand appears to be writing a how to respect trans people guide. Absolutely sick of this.

They made sure to include a "she/they self-correction" dialogue spoken by a character that wasn't cut from the final release, surely this "lore" codex entry was intentionally left in the game as well. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

You always have one or a group of people creating something amazing (in this case gaming/or specific games) they become successful, money starts to pour, then the leeches start to find ways to re-direct that income to them until they destroy/suck all the energy from it. I think gaming in general was harder to crack for a couple of reasons: difficulty to get in because of the complexity that is to create a game and the amount of knowledge you used to require and because most of the original creators are still alive and are either CEOs or directors so that they can push back on all of this things. I think now that corporations kind of took over those previous roles is when they found a crack and started to suck again. Another thought is back then I imagine a lot of the writing was done by the developers themselves, but now that they started hiring writers (with no development background) is that they opened the gate to wokeism or any other type of political agenda which has nothing to do with gaming.

This site has a policy of no console warring, no platform warring, but that "policy" is blatantly, "flagrantly", ignored and disregarded, in favor of suxking Sony's dick like Sony is giving out free blowjobs by Andie Anderson. They have a litany of shit games that contributed to this shit era of games that most of y'all label "woke" (The Last Of Us Part II, all of Spider-Man 2, the bullshit in Ragnarok, Concord, Aloy's ugly ass, etc) and yet we only act as if Forspoken, Redfall (Star Wars) Outlaws, Concord (but barely), Veilguard, Suicide Squad, Dustborn, and other games are to blame.
How the flying fuck is a world with Abby in it off limits but Veilguard free game? If platform trolling and platform wars are banned, how the fuck is the blatant Sony shilling allowed so frequently and wantonly?
The entire industry is fucked. I'm on record as wanting a Pro, and wanting certain games on it that most of these "gamers" here, aside from one guy I liked and quoted earlier, wouldn't even think to look out for for PS5 Pro. I want a PS5 Pro because I've had my PS5 for three years. The shit is old, so it's time to get a new one. I prefer a platform that came out the year I bought it, rather than get something that was made four years ago.
I can support something and see the flaws in it. I clearly support Sony. I clearly support something even when they release blatant anti-consumer practices and initiatives against me. I just don't get how this one-sidedness is allowed on here. If Sony shot y'all fuckin' moms y'all defend them. The only thread on here free from bullshit dick sucking is the graphical fidelity thread, and even that place can get a stray Sony shill boy from time to time, but it's a lot better than the remaining threads that feel like agitated ESL would-be Trump supporting Sony worshippers.
