We've had almost nothing but cross-gen games for four years, and now that we are finally starting to break away from that, we get a flood of "remasters" from last-gen.

What the hell is going on?

We are in The Corporate Age.

Yeah, I loved dark souls and don't think it really needs a remake but I certainly won't no to it. I wish they did them altogether as a bundle. It would be amazing. They won't as it would erode value but I still want it.

They have talented artists but the programmers are doing them ZERO justice at bringing artist visions to life

Go look at Black myth and tell me it doesn't do art direction just as good, but tech way better.

I fully agree with this. It's the reason why I haven't finished the Elden Ring DLC. It's runs terrible on my rig.

But is it really the programmers? I don't know much about the technical side, but isn't FromSoftware known for using the same old engine for the past decade or so?

Wonder if they can remaster the rollspam gameplay out of it a bit while they're at it. I'm not saying I want bosses to have more roll-catch moves, but maybe increase the stamina consumption or cooldown on rolls a bit. DS3 was my least favorite gameplay in the series despite everything else being amazing.

This is illogical. If it was as simple as the "programmers" being unable to replicate the artists vision, no one would claim FROM has good art in the first place.

I'm in, especially if it includes some of the crazy cut content. But I highly doubt it.

This game has a bunch of rituals and different sky boxes and crazy stuff that was apparently cut late in development to meet their release deadline. At the very least, remake the Demon Ruins, please!
