I wish Resistance was still supported, that was actually fun.
Operation racoon city was fucking fun, I'd play that again.
Over 2000 hours for me from the Steam hour count. Played so much of it during the first 2 years of release and still did after that from time to time. I almost didn't give it a chance but got hooked on it once I tried and understand the game more. MM main and I didn't even care about losing cause just messing around as a MM was so much fun and I purposely let the survivors win most of the time. Although I'll still do my best to make it a good experience for them.Hell yeah, I put over 300 hours into Resistance.
Umbrella Corps was a flop, so it makes sense why they chased the asymmetrical game trend with Re:Verse.I wish Capcom would stop experimenting with RE MP in the dumbest of ways.
Just give us coop PvE. Resistance could have been so much fun but the 1v4 aspect killed it. Balancing was f****ed.

Outbreak for me was the best multiplayer RE game but I was too little at the time and didn't have internet for my PS2 and still enjoyed it a whole lot even with the A,I companions. It was released way ahead of it's time before the console made good use of the internet. I know they still got some small servers now with Outbreak but I don't feel too motivated to play it now. Wish they made a new Outbreak with the RE Engine or just go with a Resistance 2.Operation racoon city was fucking fun, I'd play that again.
Was Umbrella Corps PvE? I bought it a few years after the fact and didn't even get past the tutorial.Umbrella Corps was a flop, so it makes sense why they chased the asymmetrical game trend with Re:Verse.
The worst part of Capcom's RE online experiences is that they have zero anti-cheat. People were literally firing up cheat engine and toggling the speed hack button 1 minute into the game's launch. They legitimately still have no clue what they are doing when it comes to online gaming for this reason, so it makes me afraid they will try to make an Outbreak sequel and have it flop.
Agreed, but one of it's issues was it being released with a remake that people didn't enjoy as much as RE 2 Remake.I wish Resistance was still supported, that was actually fun.
I think RE3 Remake would have been much more popular and liked by people had they just made the game longer with more sections with the city and a reimagined clock tower section and Gravedigger fight plus more humanoid Nemesis encounters before he mutates into the dog form. I still enjoyed RE3 Remake's campaign but would have liked it even more than RE2 Remake's campaign had they done that above.Agreed, but one of it's issues was it being released with a remake that people didn't enjoy as much as RE 2 Remake.
I keep hoping one day someone at Capcom pitches a Lethal Company-style multiplayer RE game, with it's own quirks and trappings.
If it has to be GaaS, then so be it. But I don't think it even needs to go that far, at least not fully. It might need to be non-canon to be full GaaS. I know that matters less in Japan, so maybe they would go fill GaaS.new Outbreak game, GaaS, F2P, constant update content with new characters and skins
Win.
