So it's modular and has haptic feedback. Could be cool. I am glad you included that text under the video, because the video itself led to more questions than anything.

I do wonder if in future this could possibly find its way as an optional controller for PSVR2 perhaps? Would help the adoption of games supporting the controller.

I remember seeing a patent not long ago talking about including weight shifting inside the controller, could possible have been the R&D for this mimic controller.

If you haven't already this video talks about the Sony technologies involved in the experience and seeing this as a platform for location based entertainment. Pretty cool stuff. Would love to try this myself.
