While late, I'm voting november. A launch with cross platform Pokemon Legends Z and maybe a new remake/entry would be joocy, right before christmas

I think it's releasing this summer. Hardcore fans can go buy the initial release and there won't be any supply issues for the holidays. Voted July because they might need a bit more time to prepare things.

I'm guessing in the fall, either September or October in order to meet demands and for the Holidays that's just around the corner. Do they even have enough units for a May or June release?

It won't be that late. They have hands on events in major cities around the world next month, as well as the Switch 2 direct.
They wouldn't do all that and then wait 5-6 months until release. My money is on June.
Regarding if they have enough units, Nintendo have confirmed they'll have anti-scalper plans in place, which will include having plenty of consoles ready for launch.

Please please not June because both Death Stranding 2 and Stellar Blade x Goddess of victory DLC (Also PC launch) will launch in June, and I'm about to buy both for my Ps5 day one. I will not have enough funds if Im going to get Switch 2 if it launch on June. Not to mention I'm still saving for Ps5 pro( Hopefully a price drop once Switch 2 is launch

They will have been producing consoles for more than 6 months (probably as far back as October/November) by June. It all depends on how many units on average they can produce per month.

This is exactly how I thought it should work.
Obviously, they need to offer it through normal retailers like Walmart, Best buy, and Costco. I remember when they first announced the Switch online and had the question block forn bonus perks - well, being guaranteed a pre-order for a Switch 2 would be a great bonus perk.
Scalpers with their bots have ruined pre-orders for pretty much everything. My friends and I can't get concert tickets to popular bands anymore because scalpers get them all in the first few hours and then try to resell them for 2-4x the actual price. Same goes for video game consoles and special edition games. The lengths I had to go to in order to get my Xenoblade 3 Collector's Edition was ridiculous.
