Rumor : Naughty Dog is working on a nother PS5 game

1. Druckman basically spelled it out in detail in an interview that they're doing a smaller project.
2. Schreir said Intergalactic is 2027.
3. Druckman all but publicly canceled TLOU3 in another interview.

Thats all we know. This is nothing new.
 
I never imagined Uncharted dying like it did, than Last of Us 2 weirdness during Covid now I still love naughty dog games but I don't know about you but there's doubt with them for the first time, Intergalatic needs to show footage, the main character is a bald girl? Fine.
 
imagine being shocked they are working on The Last Of Us 3...

All true except point 3, he's already walked that back. Granted, it could still be off the table for him but Sony is telling him to keep his mouth shut in the hopes he'll change his mind with the right motivation. Or maybe it's not true at all.

For better or worse, Naughty Dog has become one of those studios that I can't really find it in myself to believe at face value. Not they outright lie often, but there's enough smarmy obfuscations of objective truth as a means to an end that it's tricky.
 
This is exactly what I suggested in the other thread that they should be doing.

If true, great news.

Would love to see another next-gen Uncharted. Uncharted 4 holds up even against this generation's best games due to its fantastic art and set piece design.

I had every intention on playing it. I don't care about Abbie being in it and the gameplay looks amazing. I really liked Joel as a character. What happened to him bothered me.

I'm extremely curious and might play someday.

I mean, it's a fantastic game even if you were attached to the main character, he's in the game quite a lot throughout.
 
This is already known. Naughty Dog officially said it themselves and it is already known that the creative lead for lost legacy has been working on something. The rest is just speculation and no one actually knows what it is
 
Isnt Intergalactic like probably coming out in 2027 and been in development since 2020? I really dont care about these stupid early announcements when the games are so far off that they are barely in alpha stage. When is the second game coming out, 2030?

I really like naughty dog. I like their approach; simple story complex characters

But they went full retard. Character so complex they don't even know what gender they are.
 
Sony is making spinoffs now in lieu of GAAS implosion. I suspect the back to greece gow spinoff to actually be about Artreus finding out just what a dick his father really is.
For this ND spinoff, its either Casey Drake following her family's legacy or Abby & Liev searching for the fireflies.
 
I still have the UNCHARTED™: Legacy of Thieves Collection in my Steam Library i have to play.
Thing is my CPU gets really hot while playing it.
 
Maybe they should first finish one... you know,since they haven't released a new game in 6 years...and it'll be at least 2 more based on Shreier's rumor of Intergalactic not making 2026.

It'll be 8 years since their last new game,let that sink in.

And no,a 1 to 1 remake of an already remastered game and a barebones remaster aren't new games so fuck off with that excuse!
 
Over 400+ employees and their last new game released in 2020. Their output and productivity is just dogshit. We'll probably get another remaster before there next game.
 
I got sneak peek on the cast of that mysterious game, bros, cuckman gonna be back in full form, sellout reviewers already making snippets of articles at kotaku, eurogamer, ign, pc gamer etc :)

It didn't die, the franchise ended beautifully. Nothing should last forever.

It isn't an speculation, ND publicly mentioned they have another unannounced SP game when announced the TLOU Online cancellation.

That project apparently started around two years ago, not three years ago.

Shaun isn't directing any game, he's a creative director. The game director ND has working in an unspecified game is Mark Davies. Anthony Newman could also be codirecting it, even if back in June 2023 he moved from game director to Head of Production and Design at ND (but maybe he was in charge of TLOU Online and did stop directing games).

As game directors they also have Kurt Margenau and Matthew Gallant, but they are the co-directors of Intergalactic.

The rumor was that who worked on an Uncharted spinoff from 2021 to 2023 aprox was Bend. But once the next Bend game was greenlighted (the new IP that is supposedly cancelled), Bend moved to focus in their own project. It wasn't specified if that Uncharted spinoff was cancelled, moved to ND or to somewhere else.
