just some side projects. What's up with FromSoft making asset flip MP slop these days? Both this and Nightreign look uninspired as fuck.
Miyazaki's A team is preparing Bloodborne 2, exclusive for PC 2

or From realized Sony is terrible at doing anything with their IP so is trying to cut tiesMod locked my thread, but I'd just like to point out this one interesting fact
Duskbloods will be the first From Soft Souls-like game that will not appear on PlayStation system
Demon's Souls on PS3 is what started the Souls-like genre (or some may say even Kings Field on PS1). And since then, every single From Soft Souls-like games were published on PlayStation system
King's Field 1-3 - PS1
King's Field 4 - PS2
Demon's Souls - PS3
Dark Souls 1 - PS3
Dark Souls 2 - PS3
Dark Souls 3 - PS4
Bloodborne - PS4
Sekiro - PS4
Elden Ring - PS4, PS5
Elden Ring SoTE - PS5
Elden Ring Nightreign - PS5
until now
Duskbloods - Nintendo Switch 2........Nintendo must've dropped lots of $$$$ to make From Soft game exclusive to Switch 2
Because it's super cheap and after Elden Ring they realize a lot of people will buy anything with their name on it.What's up with FromSoft making asset flip MP slop these days? Both this and Nightreign look uninspired as fuck.
Yeah, and it's even stranger now that Sony owns something like 15% of Kadokawa, the Fromsoft parent company.Mod locked my thread, but I'd just like to point out this one interesting fact

Sony fucked up twice on the same exact thing with the same exact companyHoly fuck. So this is like demon souls —> dark souls but for Bloodborne. Insane.
It's multiplayer?

I hope its worth it for a side project MP only game that a lot of souls fans will be absolutely disinterested in it. Myself included.Mod locked my thread, but I'd just like to point out this one interesting fact

Every game company hates Bloodborne and those who like it.I was wondering where you got this from and found it.

NEWS : 『The Duskbloods』発表 - The Duskbloods OFFICIAL SITE | ダスクブラッド オフィシャルサイト
Nintendo Switch 2向けソフトウェアの『The Duskbloods』は、最大8人のプレイヤー同士の戦い、そしてプレイヤーと敵との戦いが展開されるPvPvEベースのマルチプレイアクションです。www.fromsoftware.jp
You told no lies. It's a wrap guys and girls, we've been rolled and trolled. It's a multiplayer action game, PvPvE. It's not the RPG we expected.
Only way I'd play is if the PvP elements are invasions and the Multiplayer element is an optional seamless co-op experience. Will need more info on April 4th to make a judgment. Anytime I see the likes of anything similar to PvPvE/Escape from Tarkov/Extraction Shooter...it's always a bad sign. This, multiplayer game. Disappointing.

Expectations: Bloodborne 2
Reality: Nightreign 1.5: There's Blood in this one Edition
I bet making a exclusive Switch 2 title is cheaper and takes less time than making it for the other consoles. Wonder if that'll tip the balance too.Nintendo exclusivity may just be a consequence of the way the marketplace is going in Japan. Its going to be interesting to see where other third parties are laying their eggs, and other major publishers also choose Nintendo over Sony, with the Switch 2.
The souls genre is not about mp only pvpvpve or extraction mp .. or whatever this is .... so yes he is good but its not the same genre at all imho. It's directed by Miyazaki himself, The Godfather of Souls genre, he don't miss
It's still at least a year away, if not longer! Give it time to cook in the oven ffs!Not gonna lie. This looked like shit. Trailer was amateurish and the graphics are clearly inferior to BB. Some really goofy shots like that tin man with the jet pack. Not Froms usual quality.
Is this even a Souls game? I can see why it's exclusive to a new system. No way this is the next major from game lol.
If Duskblood has a similar game design to Escape from Tarkov, then you'll get dropped into an instance, fight bosses and other enemies in the world, loot and survive the encounters. You'll occasionally run into other players making each run much harder as you fight to survive against everything trying to kill you. Once you've looted enough from your battles or are ready to get out of the instance, you'll need to find an extraction point to get out alive. If you die, you lose everything, if you get out with your loot, you can stash it or gear up with it as you prepare for the next instance.No.
Stop it with nightreign comparison guys. Nothing shown so far is anything remotely like Nightreign. It has multiplayer. There's many ways to do that. PC coop mods for souls game is effectively also multiplayer. From software could be exploring this.
Honestly, visually it's fine. The game looked like it was made for the PS3 .... ? Visuals are worse than Bloodborne? What happened there?
Don't give yourself false hope, this is a multiplayer game and not an RPG with an optional multiplayer mechanic.I'm going to wait for more information on this. Nintendo tends to defines games rather literally, and souls games are pvpve when online.
Yup and the service is bad.So.. if this is a multiplayer game, I will have to pay for that shitty Nintendo online service to play it? Damn, that's a shame. I'll obviously do it, but I hate that consoles makes you pay for basic shit like this.
Welp, there it is. Bloodborne: Nightreign.uuuuuugggggghhhhhh
