Nintendo Switch 2 has the worst launch day titles of any system in my gaming life.

There's Mario Kart World and some third parties. And their one game is $80 digital.

It's already looking bad. Mario kart can't save the reality. It sure will sell but this thing is rightfully getting planned.

If Sony and Microsoft get hell for ports and crap then Nintendo said hold my beer with the same old Nintendo playbook and stupid pricing.

That's one more than PS5 or X|S had at launch.

Ahhh, the retard strikes again! Here is the PS5 launch list:

Demon's Souls
Astros Playroom (FREE and incredible)
Spider-Man Miles Morales
Spider-Man remastered
Sackboys Adventure

These were the 1st party offerings. Not the greatest launch ever, not the worst, no comparison to what Nintendo is doing though.

Wow what an incredible list, you sure showed me.

? PS5 had multiple launch titles. Sack boy, demon souls, Miles Morales and even Astros playroom. You can argue that Mario kart is greater than all those combined, but it didn't have zero.

Xbox, well ya that literally had nada and why I'm even confused with this thread. Like one of the literal last console released had less. It wasn't even long ago!

Nintendo is actually spacing out their launch games. DKB could prob be a launch title, but they moved it. There are a lot of games coming every week after launch.

Don't forget the advertisement game for the Switch 2's new features, which you have to pay for.
I could see myself paying $80 for a handful of Nintendo titles. I was doing that all the way back on SNES and Genesis. But I would never pay for a tech demo. Charging for that is insane.

Yes, I showed you your statement was incorrect and that you're full of shit, now everyone knows who's posts can be safely ignored, it's a beautiful thing!

Again, just an incredible list of next gen exclusives. A PS3 remake, a remaster and a couple of cross gen games and a demo. I am humbled.

The topic is the worst launch. MKW defecates on all of those from a great height.

I mean Nintendo's got their fanbase hooked with this one game, so maybe it'll be enough. People in this board claiming it's among the strongest launch lineups ever lol.

Mario Kart World will sell some systems, sure, but especially for its pricing, I don't think it will have the same kind of pull that MK8D had on Switch.

Donkey Kong will come the month after at least, but I don't expect that to be an explosive seller.

Then there's the wheelchair basketball game sometime this summer.

Who knows when we get Prime 4. Probably not soon after launch, considering they won't share the release date.

Pretty disappointing for sure.

Its just one game though. That's kind of shit. Last time we had Zelda at launch as well as MK8 and a new Mario in the pipeline announced for release later that year.

Also, I can't believe they haven't ported Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD but will have the damn GameCube version available. You really can't make this up lol

$450 + $80 for one new game. Kind of nuts. I'm so eager to know how much Nintendo wants to charge for that system tutorial.

Both had new third party games at launch and Xbox had a few 4K/60fps patched games.

It was at the height of the pandemic, too. There's no excuse for Nintendo.

Switch has third party games and updated games too.

My PS5 game at launch was a PS4 title that was a remaster of a PS3 game. Guess that was a sign of things to come for PS5 and why I sold it shortly after. My Series X launch game was Assassins Creed and some patched games I could have already played on my One X.

Mario Kart is better than that.

Unless you are hardcore into Mario Kart I don't see much reason getting this at launch.
I wouldn't say it's the worst launch ever though, Switch was worse in my opinion.

Last time it was BOTW, 1 2 Switch, Snipperclippers and 6 third party games. There's a lot more games in this lineup.

Xbox Series X is the worst for me. Microsoft looked at the reaction to Halo Infinite and literally decided to launch their console without a single game. Literally not one game. If it wasn't for Game Pass and backward compatibility, I'd have had nothing to play on my shiny new console.
