Has there been confirmation about a Switch 2 TV yet, or it is just hopes and dreams. That also does nothing to help solve the Switch Lite family situation. People as a whole have moved to mobile rather than gaming on a PC or in front of a TV. You can't take that cheaper TV box and play it during a cross country drive or flight. Sure you can play in tabletop mode, but yay, a GBA sized view will really show off the graphics of that $80 game on the new $450 system.
Nintendo also stalled preorders in the US due to the tariffs. We'll see what the real price ends up being. Nintendo really should have launched last fall, with the tariffs and economic uncertainty, it won't hit as wide of an audience. It will still sell out to the diehards, but it won't have the momentum it could have had.
