i just want to understand how in the name of god, a game by Sakaguchi and Uematsu is lost on MS library forever, why release one of the greatest JRPG on a system that didnt give a fuck about JRPG ll always bogs me, the share amount of ppl that never played this game cause of this is criminal.

I was checking out my YT playlists and found this gem saved from all those years ago. Watching it still gives me goosebumps for how good it is. Everything from the music to the golden lighting to the exposition to Jensen's sexy voice to the imagery portrayed are perfection to me. Nothing has ever topped this since 2010. Watching it now in today's climate makes it more impactful and prophetic. I love the game as well but thats a different topic.

Just wait and they'll eventually remake it. Same with ICO, out of all games bluepoint could've remade they chose Demon's Souls, I don't understand but I've got time to wait for an ICO remake of (hopefully) a developer who knows how to remake games.

That song is just fantastic, mixed with a sizzle reel across the series with HD textures at 4K, it's my go to "yo try this if you haven't" for game recommendations.

MGS2, posting the Japanese trailer since it was obviously first. But yeah the music is the best theme song for a game ever composed, that jump from PS1 visuals to the jaw dropping graphics here was completely unbelievable. Add to that the absolutely hype inducing teases of the plot…Yeah MGS2 had the best trailers ever, nothing has ever come close since until MGS4's reveal, the wait for that finale was unreal.

one of best trailer out there. whoever did this deserve a raise. until today no SE trailer come close to this quality.

sadly we didnt get majority in this footage however this trailer generate crazy amount of hype to the point i dare say it manage to attract interest of people more than any marketing of latest mainline FF SE did.

It's still got to be Duke Nukem Forever's E3 2001 trailer... It caused so much hype, and generated so much anticipation for a game that was stuck in perpetual development hell up until Gearbox took over development and finished the game themselves. For 2001, this trailer looked amazing. The leaked playable build that this trailer was pulled from, showed so much potential for a UE1 engine game.




Also, another classic, GTA: Vice City trailer #2:


It really showed that Rockstar knew how to cut a trailer from raw gameplay footage.

For all the negative things that I could say about Acclaim, their marketing team was really damn good. Mortal Monday was an incredibly well executed event.
