I stumbled across this while browsing the Xbox store, I'm assuming it's available on other platforms as well.
I was pretty impressed, looks great visually with a kinda Moon Studio vibe. Looks to have plenty of depth with different classes/builds/skills.
Full game drops later this month and I'll definitely be picking it up.

Last I checked they were still only offering an outdated build as the demo. Seems they updated it a couple days ago. And for denuvo haters, the dev removed it after feedback (complaints) about the drm.

This one has been on my wishlist since one of the indie fests or whatever for a while now. Brian Mitsoda is the writer as well so there's some potential for great characters/story which has been a frequent shortcoming in the genre.

The writing in the demo was pretty good, it was one of the things that stood out for me.
I'm kinda surprised this game snuck by me as this was a one of my go to genres. The demo of impressed me for sure, it pushes all the right buttons.

40$ price is out of touch price for side-scrolling metroidvania. And this kind of combat loop where you just roll to the enemies back become old and boring pretty fast, I played plenty of games like this. Won't deny though that visually it looks good and "high budget" for a 2D game.

It's running well on Deck. Voice work and writing is pretty solid so far.

Why do so many YouTubers sound like their balls haven't dropped? It makes it tough to listen to them, their voices are, often times, just grating.

OT: this game looks great. Recently finished Blasphemous 2, and white it wasn't as good as the first one, it was definitely still damn good, so I'm in the mood for something that scratches that itch again. I think 2D action RPG's might be my favorite genre now.

I've played some of the demo. Your character feels good to move around and the combat feels nice and polished. The music and some of the voice acting are good quality as well.

The art style and 2.5D made this an insta-nope for me. Looks fucking awful to my eyes.
