Switch 2 Pre-Orders from Nintendo are only eligible to those with 12mo of NSO and 50hrs of playtime on Switch

Pre-order locked it. Surprised it is still readily available. I guess Nintendo was telling the truth that they will be able to meet demand....or demand is not there due to the price.

That's the only thing I'd be concerned about. You just being able to slide in and snag one.

You'll know tomorrow. You have no control over it, so just enjoy the ride and brace for the worst/hope for the best.

Knowing my luck it'll get cancelled. Which is depressing to think about because my birthday is two days after the release date…

Well, look at it this way...just think about how many people will experience the following on launch day:
  • A system that doesn't work.
  • Dead pixels on the screen.
  • Battery/docking issues.
We all know it's coming. Do you remember the first Switch launch?

I placed an order for the non-bundle and right after it completed, my MK Bundle queue popped up a notification with a 10 minute countdown so I ordered and it then cancelled my first order. My queue time was about 55 minutes. About to pass that with my BB queue.

I got the original Switch at the midnight launch and had no issues. Typically these issues are always miniscule (unless there's a huge screw up like with the 360 RROD).
 
Bestbuy just kicked me out of one line. I was able to jump back in though?

I think that's the default timeout as mine did the same thing at ~52 minutes.

Probably the same way they did for the ps5s after launch, even if it isnt going to hit release. They have an expected amount to be received by date and ship them then.

Just managed to get an order to go through for the MK bundle at Target, estimated delivery between June 6-June 11. Immediately checked the purchase history and it didn't show canceled for this one like an hour ago…also got a confirmation email and pending authorization.

I'd be more than happy to get a slightly delayed order, I just don't want an order to get cancelled (I've heard a lot of horror stories with Walmart after looking online). Best Buy has kicked me out of line 5 times so it seems that just isn't meant to work.

What are the chances of Target canceling?

Well, managed to get 1 base model for myself and 1 MK model for my kid from BB about an hour ago. My initial line cue kicked me out after 40+ min, but after that, I tried another time and worked in about 5-10 min.
Feel lucky.... but not sure if I want to do this anymore. Perhaps in the future console or GPU releases, may just wait out a bit while catching up with old games, and get them when there are plenty to go around.
Getting too old for this now.

Got mine in at Walmart and 20 minutes later they texted me saying it's "delayed". No big deal honestly. As long as I get it in the month of June.

Yep, sure does. Although I recall hearing that there is an issue where you can't use the home button on it for certain things.
