IF someone has not played this game and the Switch 2 is their first experience

They will have a blast! fully patched up with the DLC.

This game was amazing. Beat it twice myself. The music is so good!

Looks like a game from 2015. No idea why it's getting so much attention atm. It being mobile doesn't excuse it from looking 10 years old. What's important is for the game to look as good as it could, and run at 60fps+, and its not on mobile hardware that you'll achieve any of it. Not to mention that this game will drain batteries the f up, and while playing on the go, expect a glare simulator because nintendo didn't even bother having an oled screen.

Only see this thing being decent for those who refuse to buy any other systems than whatever Nintendo offers, but who in the right mind does this in 2025?

I mean if you don't have anything that's better, it looks serviceable. But lack of traffic, pedestrians, shadow artifacts and more detract.

It does look better vs say Steam Deck or Ally.

Ofcourse, it looks fine.

Impressive from the power envelope and DLSS doing its work. Waiting for DF, atleast that will be more coherent than the OP (Sadly we don't have rules on writing coherency but OP sure needs it)

That's the first thing that I noticed. They turned the pedestrian and traffic sliders down to increase performance.
That and the disocclusion fizzle which is rampant. The framerate is also pretty bad and it's blurry af. I don't even remember the ps4 version being this blurry and this is docked mode footage. Absolutely awful. The crazy thing is CDPR is trying to charge $100 CDN for this garbage. There are better 3rd party efforts that should be rewarded.

Based on this footage alone, everyone should take the witcher 4 footage with a mountain load of salt. They clearly cannot be trusted. The press footage they showed looked significantly better than the real product which looks awful.

In handheld mode looks way better than the base PS4/ SteamDeck. Impressive

Past-gen builds were abandoned and never properly fixed because CDPR was a burning dumpster mess for two years straight and it took them additional 70 million dollars to fix the game on PC and next-gen only.

Of course five years later it is easier to port a next-gen build with potato settings. One can argue One X and PS4 Pro could've run Phantom Liberty and base game in a better shape if these versions were ever a priority for CDPR. That's why I think it's tad unfair to act like PS4 Pro footage is some kind of an indicator.

Steam Deck, on the other hand, can run CP2077 with way more interactive elements and higher settings and should be considered baseline. NSW2 version is a lazy potato port from PC from the looks of it and I really think that CP2077 itself is a game created for the big screen and high settings for intended atmosphere and enjoyment.

So you expected a PS5 version on the Go… And the Switch 2 fans are the ones with unrealistic expectations 😂. And NO, the XB1/PS4 can't do better due to hardware limitations, CDPR has explained this millions of times…
