Target - stuck in the June 11th boat.

Taking the day off on the delivery date, had a sketchy experience during the PS5 launch with my delivery box being opened by the time I got it.
 
Shipped from My Nintendo Store this morning. Their internal estimate says it won't arrive until Tuesday, but DHL sent me email saying it would arrive on Friday. So here's hoping.
 
Nope waiting on John Lewis in UK. They have sent the pro controller via DPD already. Come on.

Shit, son, that reminds me of when I preordered an import Wii. Had to get my hands on Zelda early because it was only reaching us in Europe way later.
Can't remember which shop I got it from... Canadian shop of some sort.
I remember checking every five minutes whether it had been shipped...

First and last time I ever preordered a system. I wonder whether it was worth it. 19 years later, I think I should have spent my money on something else.

You guys have fun waiting. I'll get one when they release a Smash game or something.
 
Decided to stop F5ing and do things the old school way. Went to GameStop at 2PM and preordered one at 3PM. Didn't think I'd be able to get one showing up that late but it worked out.
 
Netherlands here.

It's being sent via DHL (Deutsche Post). But it isn't showing up yet in my track and trace as being in transit. Really worried it isn't being delivered tomorrow.

Anyway, any suggestions for carrying cases ? the official nintendo one for 25€ doesn't look bad from the moment that most CHY-NA ones on Amazon are.around the 17-18-20€ mark.

My sister's is set to arrive tomorrow or friday (she ordered hers from best buy)

I already got a call from my local gamestop that I can pick it up during the midnight release tonight or tomorrow. Which was the plan, I'll be heading over there during my lunch break tomorrow

My Best Buy order is still stuck on packaging your item, seems like a lot of people have gotten their shipment notifications and tracking numbers. Hoping I get one soon enough.

I have a tracking number for both my console and my Pro controller.

The controller is already with UPS.

Still waiting for FedEx to pick up the console, but the email I got from Best Buy says it is scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

For reference, I'm on the east coast and the console is shipping from central New York State. The controller is shipping from Virginia.
 
Walmart says pro controller is "preparing" and arriving tomorrow by 10pm... but the console is still "placed" and not "preparing", and says arriving by June 6. Hope there's no nonsense.
 
My Nintendo direct order went from label created in Seattle to package received in Indianapolis to in transit in Boston over the course of a couple hours today. Expected delivery tomorrow morning via FedEx
 
Walmart, delivered from store. Says "preparing" but my card has been charged. Will arrive "before 10pm" tomorrow.
I hope not too early because I have meetings and won't be able to go to the door.

No idea what their online strategy is, but their retail stores got their shipments in earlier this week.

I got a heads up call the other day letting me know my system had come in and it's ready for pick up tomorrow (it's a mall Gamestop).

It shipped for me today. Dunno why I dropped 600 on this even though I won't be playing it much except for the must have nintendo stuff. Could've prob waited for more games but I usually get all the big consoles anyways.
 
My buddy secured a pre-order at Gamestop so I cancelled my Walmart pre-order. I hope that little beast finds a good home.

Nintendo screwed me. Said it shipped yesterday but their tracking just shows Processing and the DHL tracking number I got from them isn't even recognised by DHL.. I don't get it why Nintendo class that as being "shipped" when it's not even picked up by the carrier - estimated time of delivery was today too, fat chance.
 
My Switch 2, Mario Kart World cart, 256 GB microSD Xpress card and Switch 2 Pro controller are currently received by the courier but not yet out for delivery. I expect these will come early afternoon, sometime between noon and 3pm based on previous console launches. This is why I decided not to take the day off work as I just thought it was a waste of a day sitting around waiting (especially when someone else can do this for me!!!).

I did also order another game plus the official Switch 2 carrying case from Amazon but both show for delivery on Saturday for some reason. Amazon really do suck these days. Probably should have ordered both of those from Nintendo as well but they were late pre-orders that I made a few weeks after I'd ordered the console etc.

Amazon pre-orders, for whatever reason here in the UK, seem to almost always add a couple of days after release for delivery but can change last minute to be delivered on release day or the next day. Hopefully, this is the case with my pre-orders and they will actually arrive later on today or tomorrow rather than Saturday. I think Amazon do this to cover themselves rather than guarantee release day delivery. However, it is a bit annoying when I am a Prime subscriber.

*EDIT*
Carrying case has updated for delivery tomorrow... so that looks like it definitely will not be coming today so I could take my Switch 2 to work on Friday and use it on a lunchtime. Oh well.
