Apart from Ninja Gaiden 4 there was nothing from that show that interested me.

Honestly, I thought the same thing at first.

Then, the power of Microsoft's Xbox strategy is fully apparent.

It's an off-year for them and they don't have to show any bangers, the bench did fine.

Doesn't soften the blow for anyone expecting info on those games but it definitely proves their point, IMO.

I think it's simply a way to say Xbox Store. They replaced the Windows Store wording with Xbox PC. I feel like most people think of Steam when they think of PC so it makes sense.

It could be an alternative name for the Windows Store or for Windows itself (although putting the Windows brand in the corner would be a shot in the foot) I think that merging Xbox with PC is impossible, the only possible thing is to arbitrarily call ''PC gaming'' of ''Xbox-PC'' just because.

You can extrapolate that PD is far along since the voice actress seems to be on to her next project, so its gotta be somes ways through.

Gameplay was shown for Perfect Dark last year but was absent in this year's show and still has no release window.

It's not that they're mismanaged. Just shown way too early. They showed a CG Gears trailer as the one more thing last year to generate hype.

With how the reveal of Perfect Dark looked I'd be happy for it to never see the light of day. It's a new IP in all but name anyway, so no real loss.

Gears one is fine but the PD and Fable management is some horseshit. Fable especially they keep talking about it without showing much of anything and now it goes radio silent? Can't convince me that MS aren't incompetent.

FH6 I'm expecting Japan and not being held back by last gen I expect an insane game.

Gears already went "woke".

It went from a game about brotherhood and a group of testosterone fueled men fighting a war to sidelining that for a story about motherhood and a mother daughter relationship with a poorly written girl boss character with 5. What's funny is that Gears had great strong female characters already and they actually ruined it when they tried to focus on it.

Kait Diaz is a fucking terrible character that everybody just bows down to as she tells literally everybody what to do despite being outranked and running purely on emotion.

Luckily E-Day looks like a return to form.

Playground being in England, I do expect to see Fable at Gamescom later this year, but I would only start feeling concern (based on their track record) if they manage to skip out on the next Developer Direct.

Now that I think about it, where was Everwild? I feel like we've seen enough of Fable (we got new footage earlier this year right?) that I'm not concerned about its absence. Is E-day releasing this year? If so, maybe they have a marketing plan this year closer to release. PD must still be a ways off. I liked the gameplay reveal trailer but if I remember right, I want to say the impression I took away from it was it looked really scripted and I didn't have faith actual gameplay could provide what that trailer indicated the gameplay would be like.

I was not bothered about any other game apart from fable. That game is taking forever. I wouldn't grade the show more than a C or D for the fact that was missing.
