What makes Clair 33 a JRPG? I don't get it.

predetermined characters, predetermined classes, limited character builds due to predetermined skills, no stat check on weapons/skills, linear storyline, focus on mechanics rather than player expression.
you will find that these characteristics fit basically all JRPGs.

this is also why Dark Souls is not a JRPG, neither is Elden Ring. those are following western RPG designs. stat checks for skills/weapons/equipment, open ended build possibilities, custom character, non-linear design, no predetermined classes, focus on player expression rather than mechanics.

The moderation on Reddit is so bad.
I created a burner account for a day and during that time posted on a subreddit where a mod thought I was an A.I. bot according to the ban message and banned the burner from their subreddit.
I thought "what do I care, this is just a burner". I deleted my burner account by the end of the day.
Today I post on that subreddit on my main account and get banned from the subreddit for ban evasion. I reply to the mods and tell them what happened, then they unban me. All good.
Then I post on the subreddit again and this time Reddit itself bans my whole account for a week for ban evasion.
I submitted an appeal but who knows how long that's going to take.
The burner account was completely deleted so I can't even log back in to try to appeal that ban on that account. I gave them the account name and tried to explain what happened though. Hopefully they can read my chat messages with the mods to see for themselves what happened. They only gave me 250 characters to try to explain in the ban appeal.
This is a mess. I assume they're tracking my I.P. I was never an A.I. bot in the first place

I got banned from some subreddits due to me asking how is politics related to the subreddit main subject. Not only that I got a message from the administrators if I continue to do that in non-political subreddits my account will be permanently banned

I just use Reddit for the porn but I can see that going away due to how Reddit is turning into more censor happy as time goes on. Reminds me of Tumblr, back than people used to just go to Tumblr for the porn but ever since Tumblr got rid of the porn, Tumblr been pretty much dead nowadays

Listening to TOOL's Fear Inoculum while I work on honey-do list stuff today and every time I listen to Invincible off that album it immediately conjures up memories of being an early teenager and spending summers with my grandfather who would take me to the local VFW Hall.

There was always guys in there, usually in various levels of intoxication, proudly wearing their WW2, Korea, or Vietnam hats. Constantly swapping their warstories, talking about their conquests (both war and romance), or talking shit to each other. They particularly liked that my grandfather brought his 13/14/15 year old kid as a captive audience for their fantastical stories. When a few Desert Storm guys came into the fold, all the old timers would talk about how they wished they were younger so they could go over there and "beat Saddam's ass" and couldn't get enough of the stories of their war.

Everyone knew most of their stories were either bullshit or highly exaggerated. I caught my grandfather (a WW2 vet who was a carpenter for the Navy repairing ships both in the American and Pacific theater) embellishing his own stories around the table a time or two. But everyone accepted it because no one was getting any younger and reliving their "glory days" was pretty much all these guys had left, as they spent the rest of their days scraping out an existence in rural tidewater Virginia.

Part of me misses those summers and those war stories. Before I got old enough to learn more and became cynical and jaded.

Anyway, just felt like sharing and procrastinating before mowing the lawn.

It was playing right before the game and I remember sitting in the campus center at college thinking the show was played out and wondering why it was still being renewed.
