Thats why I've always said that letting people like Peter Moore and Pete Hines walk was a dumb decision. Rodd Fergusson should be moved away from Blizzard and in charge of everything. The guy doesn't exactly make first class games, but he can make games quickly and efficiently. Gears 4 and Gears 5 were solid products and largely delivered what they were supposed to. He also saved Bioshock Infinite from Ken Levine's perfectionist tendencies.

The power of the clouds has always been real just poorly executed in gaming .The power of the cloud didn't come through?
Someone just has to be brave enough to make a cloud only game & charge per-play for the 1st year or so until the next generation of consoles that will be powerful enough to play it natively.

I know you was talking about the weak execution they displayed with Crackdown 3 trying to sell people on the power of the "Clouds" with something that no one would even notice. I'm just saying it would work better if they did the opposite of that & use it for games that are not obtainable on home consoles for a few years.

I wanted Crackdown 3 to be good man. I LOVE CD1! I thought CD2 was kinda ass but still had hope for 3.
I found some joy in 2. I could not in 3. After YEARS of development. It was certified ass.

They hid it for so long , the warning signs were there. I had a fools hope in the sense of being pleasantly surprised by how it turned out but of course it was, as you say, certified ass.
I still believe there is a lot of potential in that IP and in the right hands it could be something worthwhile. I doubt we will see another one anytime soon though.
The first one came around at a time when 360 was really starting to hit its stride, great time to be a Xbox fan.

I agree entirely. I knew the warning signs were there. I just wanted to ignore them.
The only positive is I firmly believe it's the worst game Xbox has ever published. Redfall was ass, but I thought it was still better than CD3

I can't disagree, I spoke to some fellow Xbox fans who were really disappointed at the time . It was obvious that the multiplayer wouldn't be as promising as that initial reveal but I didn't think it would of been that terrible.
Another Phil moment was when he posed on stage at a E3, a big speech about a new announcement and it turned it was Crossfire X….yeah.
He maybe a nice guy or whatever but at the end of day he's in business and we are the consumer . We don't owe the man anything, there has been too many underwhelming situations in his reign.
Fans shouldn't have to be subservient to executive millionaires.
If they want to be successful then make your products more of a must have in the views of the consumer.
Gamers get a lot of shit for being entitled or negative, with some I just think they want to be happy and for these companies to deliver the goods as consistent as possible.

If anything happens to the hardware division it'll give a very good indicator as to where Xbox "consoles" are heading
