It's insane to see so much outrage over this while completely ignoring how we just had a school shooting just last month where a bunch of kids died with the same gory wounds we are so shocked by. This is a problem that affects all americans. Right, left, straight or gay, kids and adults. It's a gun problem. It's a mental illness problem. No one in their right mind shoots someone in the head over politics.

No way he survived that. The closeup shot where there is no attempt to cover the wound and the blood coming out is almost instant death.
Don't know much about the guy but he has said this previously:
"I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational. Nobody talks like this. They live in a complete alternate universe."
Wonder if this will change if he survives. Either way, its clear that America still has a violence problem thats only going to compound as jobs disappear, costs rise, misinformation campaigns run rampant and overall education quality continues to fall.

Extreme measures are going to have to be taken to address left wing terrorism. This is unsustainable. It is not an extreme fringe on the left: assassination attempts are now effectively the go-to strategy of the left and they enjoy widespread support on the left and in left-wing media. They have by choice ceased to be political opponents and for all intents and purposes opted out of the political process and resorted to arms.
