Cracker Barrel is going through fundamental changes.

all i see in those photos of C.B. is a lot of old coffin dodgers who won't be in eating next year, so i cant blame the CEO for trying to entice a newer generation in and since when does attempting to right a sinking ship became "woke" all of a sudden ffs, its not like she pulled a Bud Light or Jaguar, she just turned a quaint looking themed restaurant into a boring vapid looking bland one cause apparently that's what the younger kids like these days.. i dunno, maybe before embarking on a massive 700mil spend id take a moment to gather as much intel and research first

I wonder what they can do to attract new customers now that they're sticking with everything that hasn't worked for the past few years.

Improve the food, go back to making it fresh. Make a point about training the kitchen to cook and not just reheat. It would be a tough job, but with proper training and advertising that highlighted the improved flavors would work. Also include Sydney Sweeney.

If I had access to AI i would make a Sweeney AI ad.

Good idea!

Sydney Sweeney or someone like Ana De Armas in an ad would be peak!

Edit: if they did food like Buttermilk Kitchen (a restaurant in Atlanta) they could get new customers.

Stock is still down.

It was $60-ish before the debacle. Then dropped to around an intraday low of $50. Reversals brought it back to $60. Then tanked again to $52.

First priority aside from putting everything back is improve the food. All you got to do is google it and food quality is a mess. They even changed from fresh baked biscuits to day old warm ups under the new CEO. They now said they are changing it back.

It's because they haven't fired the CEO.

The wrecker is still there, so the markets don't see much as having changed.

Imagine being the designer who's work ended up being so hated that its celebrated to be taken down and thrown in the garbage. Just ouch.

They got paid just the same. I work on stuff all the time it gets rejected, or accepted and rejected later. I still got paid.
