I know it's creating (and maintaining) buzz around the game, but the fact that the publisher still allows Randy to tweet about Borderlands from his public account is funny. Almost everything he says pisses off the community even more.
 
HA!, thats why i didnt jump in immediately, ill get it once thye release at least 2 expansion packs. Hopefully the performance improves.
 
Amazing, when is 2K asking him to shut up? After all these years he keeps doing the same thing all over again.

Here's an idea, fans of the franchise should band together, create a terabyte long montage of this kind of "content" and try to bribe Randy with it, perhaps then he'll tell his employees to fix the game.

Excited for borderlands 4, 5 and 6 this is the franchise to play while other shooters regress especially cod borderlands just keeps getting better

I have a brand new PC with latest gen Nvidia graphics card (16gb vram) and the game stutters like shit on medium. Randy is just straight up lying.

but anyway, it's still the top seller and peaked at 300k players today, more than double the launch peak of BL2. seems like there's probably enough 'premium gamers' for them

Looking at games made with UE5 I happen to think that the people making UE5(EPIC) and developers using UE5 have no idea what they're doing.

Because 5800X3D + 7900XT runs a solid 80-90 fps at 4K, V.High, FSR Balanced + Frame gen
 
After what Gearbox did to Homeworld 3 (reportedly, at least), he and his dogshit company can go fuck themselves forever.
 
Damnit Randy, your team made a great game, alot of us are loving it, yes it needs some patches and optimizations (though I've personally not encountered any performance issues), but man... SHUT THE HELL UP. You are causing your company and amazing team harm by being so flippant with your audience. Its not cute, you aren't coming off as some great speaker or leader, you are coming off as emotionally unintelligent. Calm down, step away from the keyboard and do better. Your team deservers it.

Correct. He's got issues and a sordid past and is controversial sometimes. But Gearbox themselves which is what you said originally, there's no doubt why they're still around. Their games sell well and they make lots of money. They keep him around for a reason. 🤷‍♂️

There is a HUGE difference in added latency and image quality between the two. Don't talk shit if you don't know what you're talking about.
 
Randy is ruining any chance at any goodwill this game could have eventually when they better optimize it.
