Activist Group Calls For Major Switch 2 Boycott

I support that (but I've bought DK Island DLC and I'm going to buy Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 day one even if I've Super Mario 3D All-Stars yet).

I think this is more of some guy on the internet complaining about the price of mario kart and not really an organization
 
Well, I agree in principle, but the whole movement feels a little tacky to me. The website barely works on mobile, the banners looks like a poor attempt on editing imagery. Reminds me of those calling boycott to EA for not supporting the WiiU.

In the end, it's not the time to be loud, it's time to be smart. Nintendo had a successful launch, we can't change that. But there is a lot of issues that came to light that we can use for our advantage in the future. Besides, switch seems set to be supported for a while, Mario, Zelda and smash are not coming any time soon, so no reason to rush.

Switch 2 emulator can't come soon enough.
 
There's better reasons to boycott Nintendo. Like their ridiculous patent applications. Boycotts won't do anything, just don't buy their products. That will work more than any boycott, I promise you.

This, but this is what happens when people base their identities around these faceless, for profit entities. Put out a system and software that is of value *to me*, and you have my money. If you don't, my wallet is closed. Pretty simple, and yet it seems to fly over so many peoples heads like they're being led to a store at gunpoint to buy any of this shit. The Switch 2 doesn't currently interest me based on what it offers, so I'm not buying it. I was interested in replacing my Legion Go 1 until they released the price. Yeah, no. Same with the Xbox ROG ALLY X, $1000? Yeah fuck you too. It's not rocket science.

Lack of interresting exclusive titles ?! I mean for now yes but we know it will soon have at least some contrary to competition which has just become living room PCs with absolutely no customization...

Attack Nintendo if you want but please, try to make sense with your fucking arguments...
 
I am surprised about the number of switch 2 consoles available. Either Nintendo flooded the pipeline or they are not moving after the initial rush. They are everywhere and a GameStop employee told me they are not selling after the initial wave.

I will be very interested in how things go over the holiday season. I really think the game prices and game keycards may be a turnoff for a lot of parents.
 
This is blatantly just one guy making up an 'activist group' having AI make him a website, all because his mom told him he'll have to mow the lawn if he wants a Switch 2 for Christmas.

I'm assuming this is a movement originating from the USA. Which again supports the notion that we have it so good here, this is what is important enough to create a "activist movement" over.

Good points, just don't buy one and feel free to make a post or article. Dunno why everything needs activism or whatever behind it. But I guess any passionate against view could be activism? I dunno.
 
If price is the issue, I'd love to know what platform they want gamers to flee to.

This is just some fat fucking loser in his mom's basement, who was denied a Switch 2 for sticking all his socks together isn't it? Or maybe the Japanese tried to harpoon him last time he went swimming at the beach.

Let's get that out of the way, I do not like Nintendo as a company but still enjoy their product somewhat.
That said, I see "Activist group", "Boycotts" and "Educate consumers" in the same article. This will not end well lol.
