Publisher ATLUS and developer Studio Zero will host a Metaphor: ReFantazio One-Year Anniversary Live Stream on October 10 at 9:00 p.m. PT / October 11 at 12:00 a.m. ET / 13:00 JST, the companies announced. You will be able to watch it on YouTube and Steam. The broadcast will feature a special message.

Additionally, a public celebration will be held at Round1 Burbank Town Center in Burbank, California. The sold-out fan event will feature special gifts, a voice actor meet-and-greet, photo opportunities, and more.

The classic Japanese stream, don't expect much (though with the game being new, it would be somewhat unrealistic to do so).

A bit soon to announce the proper complete version of the game, no?
The game does not need it, it's already a 100 hour affair without any additions.

Maybe the last act is a bit rushed and would benefit from some fleshing out, but the game is already full of content as is.

Vanilla Persona 5 was also a 100 hours game.
It didn't keep Atlus from releasing an enhanced version with more content, better pacing, quality of life imrovement, a new playable character, etc.
And it didn't make the game a lot lot longer (97 hours vs 101 hours according to howlongtobeat).

I wasn't impressed after completion but I'm all in for a sequel to flesh out the world more and combat.

The tech in this game is sad, hope studio zero changes engine for the next game, this looks exactly like persona 5 which was already a ps3 game in 2016, embarassing.

Despite really liking Persona 3, 4, & 5, I didn't really care for this game.

The job stuff in place of Personas was cool but everything else fell flat.

I really think it would have benefited from being a normal story-driven JRPG and NOT using the Persona calendar and relationship formula.

Plus, I really, really disliked the design of the MC.

Yeah, I liked the art direction, but the visuals were so hideous (the aliasing in particular) I actually decide to not buy the game. It's a shame, because I imagine it would be right up my alley, but the way it looks is downright offensive.

That's because they used the old P5 engine for it. The game was gestating in one form or another for nearly a decade

That's why P3R and SMTV which came out before it looked and ran much better. Those were both on Unreal Engine. P4R will be UE also
