I assume we are on the verge of the marketing campaign to really start soon. November/December? with trailer 3, pre orders etc.
Rockstar never delays a game when they give an exact release date.... they have only delayed when it's a vague window like "Fall 2025" etc.If, and a Big IF, they really launch the game in May 2026, they would start to announce more trailers and gameplay soon.
But it seems that it will be delayed to Fall 2026.
actually they did it once with GTA 4 but that was because they were worried about Halo 3
yep....obviously now a days it would be laughable but Halo 3 had huge anticipation![]()
Is this for real? Insane to think about nowadays.
Doesn't matter how big it is. If it's not ready it's not ready. May is a long time away, so chances are they'll hit it, but shit happens.GTA VI is too big for them to be worried about any game competing with them
I'm wondering if they're trying to get the online portion out at the same time and are using this extra time to polish the campaign.Get the game out at the end of the lifecycle, release the PC version, sell online shark cards, release next gen patch version shortly after PS6/next box.
I would take a guess to meet that schedule, next spring or fall at the latest would be needed
I don't think they ever get worried about other games, but If I remember correctly, they wanted to polish a lot of details for a smooth release.ockstar never delays a game when they give an exact release date.... they have only delayed when it's a vague window like "Fall 2025" etc.

With how successful GTAV online is, I would think two full teams would be working on both. They had no idea how big/profitable V was going to be, so it made sense to release the story then online. Or I could be completely wrong and they wanted people to get through the story while polishing the online portion. I'm curious, with streaming being the new driving factor, if streamers are more excited for the story or online portion?I'm wondering if they're trying to get the online portion out at the same time and are using this extra time to polish the campaign.
You're going to see a lot of GTA RP streams when it launches.I'm curious, with streaming being the new driving factor, if streamers are more excited for the story or online portion?
Yeah, I have a feeling This thing will not be out before october twenty twenty sixIf, and a Big IF, they really launch the game in May 2026, they would start to announce more trailers and gameplay soon.

Will the PS5 upgrade for 5 was 10?So i'm saying twenty$20 for the ps6 upgrade or full price?
Shows you how well MS managed the Halo IP![]()

It's not happening in 2026.Yeah, I have a feeling This thing will not be out before october twenty twenty six
Sep 17 2026 is the future official date, you heard it here first.
I wonder if this will be the last Big GTA release, clearly they want a forever online version, not to mention how AI will reduce dev times in 1-2 decades and flood the market with big scope games (if predictions are correct).
1 year later PS6 release. 1 year later PC. Or depends on if they want to do Switch 2 release first and squeeze maximum money from gamers.7 months + PC enhanced dev time

I'm sorry but I wish to make all my days, weeks, months count. Year 2026 is much bigger than GTA6.I assume we are on the verge of the marketing campaign to really start soon. November/December? with trailer 3, pre orders etc.
I expect it to be a normal single player game and GTA Online launches later. Like with GTA V and RDR2.I like that people expect it to be another normal gta game where 99% of money came from shark cards and online for GTA5.
This will be probably just GTA6Online with no single player and some more "event" style online campaigns.
But it seems that it will be delayed to Fall 2026.

Im super interested to see how this launch plays out. Does the Playstation userbase and an low level Xbox userbase allow the game to outperform GTA Vs launch or will Rockstar need the PC launch to make up the numbers.
