Alex (DF) and Jez (Windows Central) point to a decline in engagement for Xbox-focused content in 2025

It must feel great to have sold your soul constantly shilling for a brand that doesn't care about you.

There is still a sizeable amount of anti-Sony pro-Xbox/MS accounts on X. I have blocked so many of them, since they are just full blown hate.

There were some that were good for comedy at one point. Like Marius.
 
Jez corden spreads his fat bean covered cheeks for microsoft just to be able to cover his house payments. The fact that his entire career is based off sucking off a trillion dollar corporation is pathetic. You can feel the desperation by him to generate traffic to his fanboy website in most of his tweets and responses because he's worried that he's going to have to find a real job soon that dosen't pay him for being a fanboy.

Do they mean Xbox only videos, why make any of that, it doesn't have exclusives. Surely PS vs Xbox stuff drive engagement so for a game that isn't yet on PS they could make it a PC vs Deck vs Xbox video in that case and not lose engagement by making it Xbox only, if the game itself has reach🤷‍♂️

Engagement on NeoGaf regarding Xbox has been up 10000% this year. The only stat that matters.

More importantly, XBox gamers are playing their AAAAAA games, they don't have time to watch YouTube videos.

The Xbox is simply aligning itself with reality.
PlayStation and Nintendo have always sold 2, 3, 10 times more than Xbox; but online it always seemed like a 1:1:1 ratio.

Without "Xbox ambassadors," without bots, without astroturfing; Xbox will be irrelevant online just as it is in the real world.
Not to mention, of course, the audience Xbox gained by marketing other platforms.

For example:

For a whole year, they boasted about "true 4K, monster 6TF" because the PS4 Pro was "fake." Then a lot of people who consume PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo went to watch Digital Foundry's videos about the Xbox One X to see what was so impressive about it.

Sooner or later everyone would get tired of it and learn that Xbox's marketing was all lies...

"SX 12TF"

Why would I watch Digital Foundry's review of the SX with its 12TF when the Xbox One X had the same "superpower" crap and in the end the best graphics were exclusive to the PS4?
 
With hardware, not sure that's true exactly when looking at Google trending stories for the year. With current consoles dying and no new console for the next year at least they are probably right about the future. But controversy = traffic. There were more high ranking stories about Xbox price increases and all the dumb stuff they said or did than with Sony and the PS5. That's just in the US though, didn't look internationally. Nintendo beat them both with the Switch 2 launch.

The Activision purchase speedran this collapse. Do you think Jez has the metal capacity to realize that he shouldn't have been a cheerleader for that acquisition? Or does he still put on the cheerleader outfit when he thinks of Phil?
 
Well, this is because Xbox's bot budget has been moved to 2026, where (as I've been told) they're planning to spend more than ever on what Phil has called the "Magnus Green Rat activation". The idea is to resuscitate the Xbox brand by flooding the internet with shills in order to change the narrative and public perception "One More Time" in preparation for the introduction of their most powerful and premium console ever created at the end of the year . Also, one of the most ambitious goals is to invade SonyGAF and fight all the misinformation and hate coming from that forum. So, 2026 is set to be The Year Of Xbox for sure. I knew Phil still has the fire whitin him 💪

This is where they get the marching orders and pivot to "no walled gardens," you know, like Game Pass.

Observing Phil Spencer and Xbox fanboys' behavior over the past 10 years, with their Discord server for "coordinating narratives," I don't doubt that all of this is true. Not to mention that they've been trying this strategy for decades and it never works, but they always repeat "because this time it will work."

It's literally amazing to me how much things have changed over the last 2 years. They all said the ABK deal would change gaming for Xbox. And it did...........just not in the way they thought :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Especially funny cause they all said xbox would take over Activision, but it honestly feels like the reverse happened.
 
I've skimmed over their videos for the last year and there's like ONE video about Xbox exclusive title - South of Midnight.
Another which is Xbox only is the MGS3D one and it came out after PS and PC videos - views on this one is about similar to PC video.
So what "titles" are they even talking about?
