rad... bet there's a nerd that spent $400 reading this thread
Sold mine for about that much.rad... bet there's a nerd that spent $400 reading this thread
Yep. No one else would get away with this. To play this game it is minimum $50 with no option to own it.I wish they made these games available on eShop without NSO subscription.
I don't mind paying for this game but I don't do online subscriptions.
They could have done same way Sony did with Jeanne d'Arc.Yep. No one else would get away with this. To play this game it is minimum $50 with no option to own it.
Or Gamepass. Everyone let's you buy it but Nintendo. They could have done same way Sony did with Jeanne d'Arc.
You can get it for free if you own PS+ or you could just normally buy from PSN store.
You guys complaining in this thread should share a subscription. Even better stock up on some discounted eshop credit first.I wish they made these games available on eShop without NSO subscription.
I don't mind paying for this game but I don't do online subscriptions.
I can easily get subscriptions but don't get one just for one game and don't play online games. You guys complaining in this thread should share a subscription. Even better stock up on some discounted eshop credit first.
Or Gamepass. Everyone let's you buy it but Nintendo.
Probably because it can't even run locally I guess.PS3 games on PS4/PS5 can't be purchased and to play them requires a Plus subscription.
I'd never sell mine!Sold mine for about that much.
I hate subscriptions too man and I wish Nintendo would change their policy. The way they roll out games is SOOOO SLOW!Yep. No one else would get away with this. To play this game it is minimum $50 with no option to own it.
This! There's no reason (no good reason) that they can't sell these games in addition to the subscriptions. Many people seem to like sub services. I bet in the future they will but now they're worried too much about creating "value" for the subscription. They could have done same way Sony did with Jeanne d'Arc.
You can get it for free if you own PS+ or you could just normally buy from PSN store.
Absolutely. This was apparent when they launched the service with Chibi-Robo of all games, which is one of my personal favorite GameCube games but not one that the masses give any kind of shit about. It's funny too we get this before a lot of more famous GameCube games, Nintendo knows what it's doing and that the really rare shit should be the priority.
It's not free if you have PS+, stop paying your subscription then you'll see how free it is.They could have done same way Sony did with Jeanne d'Arc.
You can get it for free if you own PS+ or you could just normally buy from PSN store.
I just checked my Gmail and saw that I sold mine for $20.70 in September 2011.Sold mine for about that much.
My point was at least you still have the option to buy the game even without PS+.It's not free if you have PS+, stop paying your subscription then you'll see how free it is.
Definitely, I'd love to buy it, but I'm not going to subscribe to NSO just to play it.My point was at least you still have the option to buy the game even without PS+.
Unfortunately Nintendo doesn't give you that option.
And that was my point. I hate the fact it's NSO exclusive.Definitely, I'd love to buy it, but I'm not going to subscribe to NSO just to play it.
One of the rarest first party GameCube games isn't it? Good on them for making it available.
Yeah.. I was kind of hoping they'd scrap this, or at least improve it, with the Switch 2.I wish they made these games available on eShop without NSO subscription.
I don't mind paying for this game but I don't do online subscriptions.
Nintendo does some strange things to be honest. And that was my point. I hate the fact it's NSO exclusive.
I'm hoping they'll put Battalion Wars on there and that will get a little bit of a second chance.Absolutely. This was apparent when they launched the service with Chibi-Robo of all games, which is one of my personal favorite GameCube games but not one that the masses give any kind of shit about.
I love the direction they've gone with these, I just wish they were a little bit more frequent or more than one at a time
Nintendo let you buy anything on Wii U.The narrative if Nintendo charged to purchase for these would be:
"No way am I paying Nintendo $20 for a ROM-dump of a Gamecube game, greedy azz Nintendo"
followed by:
"Their subscription service sucks so bad and doesn't offer anything, lol stupid greedy Nintendo"
Nintendo let you buy anything on Wii U.
Nobody ever said that.
