The Odyssey certainly reads like fantasy - you can easily interpret it as a tall tale by a masterful bullshit artist to explain why he didn't come straight home to his wife.
I was hoping they'd give the film an element of that. If you take Odysseus at his word, it's kind of silly - superstitious people can be gullible, but nobody would believe that Baron Munchausen nonsense.

Is it the trailer? yes. Is it an official release of it? No, they uploaded and pushed out a low quality version they somehow got ahold of way before they were suppose to. I imagine it'll get a take down order sooner than later.

Yeah I have no clue what is going on with that then, unless the YouTube upload was literally just done and its still encoding a higher quality version... but no way can that be intentional. So weird. the exact same upload is popping up everywhere now.

Yeah.. I'm not a fan of the dark/gritty/colorless take he's going for of the Odyssey. This trailer took my hype from "Very high" to "... I don't think I'm going to enjoy this". Which is very sad.

Color pretty much disappear from modern films. Older films especially in this genre had in the past so much color!
Also Anne Hathaway is seriously miscast as Penelope. The film seriously needed Lena Headey.
