Sucks that this is the new norm for me (and folks around my age). Hearing about the legends I grew up watching in movies/TV or hearing on the radio dying off more and more regularly.

RIP to another great one.

Damn. Rest in peace. There not what he will be remembered for but Days of Thunder, Falling Down, and Gone In 60 Seconds are some of my favorites of his. Regardless, he had an iconic career.

Recently saw THX-1138 in the theater. Great performance from Duvall, really brings a humanistic element to the cold dystopian scifi setting without going overboard.

Another legend passes on. R.I.P

Saw him in the Jack Reacher movie just the other day. He was great in the shooting range scenes.

'That's your mulligan Mr Ward, play ball!'

Well, he made it to 95. At this point I would just give him a round of applause for making it that far. To me, if you make it past 90, you did good. RIP.

From the TV show Billions, Axe and Wags are talking about reactions to people dying at various ages:

"Dying in your thirties or forties? "Tragic." Fifties? "Such a shame." Sixties? "Too soon." Seventies? "A good run." Eighties? "A life well lived." Nineties? "Hell of a ride.""

Duvall had a hell of a ride.
