I have tried multiple office chairs already and I can't find any that helps my back. I maintain the posture fine it sems but my shoulder/traps and my neck pain are just unbelievable.

So far I have tried the following chairs:
1. Herman Miller Aeron
2. Flexispot C7 Max
3. Steelcase Leap v2 (my current chair) - it has a return period and I am currently evaluating.

You do any kind of back exercises or stretches? Makes a real difference for me, as long as I keep up with it

I had the same issue, so I bought a standing desk shelf that I can elevate and stand when my neck/back start to hurt. When I do start to ache, standing while working for a day or two really has helped me. Good luck!

I used to have this problem many moons ago. You gotta get used to it, it just takes a few days.

It honestly might just be your back, I have very mild scoliosis hard to even see unless you reaaally look but I can definitely feel it.
And I legit can't think of a single chair I've ever sat in that has actually been 100% comfortable.

I ended up buying a standing table and then I only really lower it and sit down when I am doing something that requires more precision gaming wise.
Most of the time I am standing it's very hard for me to relax when sitting.

What do you do to alleviate the pain on your feet when standing?

I realize I definitely need to do more working out of some sort.

If something like the Aeron isn't working for you then I'd say your problems are way beyond which chair.

I can put my back out easily, right now I'm cursing myself from probably pushing too hard at the gym last night as can feel that twitch of pain. However, as soon as I sit in my Aeron I'm in heaven. It's kinda dangerous how long I can sit in this thing and feel perfectly comfortable.

It's firm, not hard. The seat fabric is elasticated. So it forms around you but with a good level of resistance, so you don't sink into it like some soft cushion. The fact that it's just a material layer with perforations means you don't get uncomfortably hot on it. Nothing like feeling sitting on a sticky leather chair or a padded cushion that gets hotter than your body and starts feeling uncomfortable after a while.

I can straight sit in this thing for 8 hours and not notice. The office chair I had before got painful after a while and I'd start shuffling around.

I have a pretty bad back and I use a Herman Miller embody chair for just over 10 years now and it helps so much. It's the only chair where my back doesn't hurt it or get any aches even sitting in it all day I regularly go sit in it when back is bothering me and it helps so much. Probably the best purchase over ever made, besides hookers and blow

The heavier you are, the more you gotta worry about it.

I have mine on a very average bedroom door that looks almost exactly like this:

I'm 160 but I've known a lot of people who had basically the same $20 setup up to around 220lb and never had an issue. There was one heavier dude with a bit of a reputation for being comically goofy that damaged the frame at someones house though...lol

Monkey bars were my favorite thing as a kid. I really wish there were "adult playgrounds" which were more accessible to the public. Would be a huge health benefit. Unfortunately lawsuits and liability issues probably make it impossible
