Marvel's Wolverine launches September 15, 2026.

I was just reading an article that Sony has been on a social media hiatus for 72 hours to avoid the campaign of #firehermanhulst for the bluepoint closure.

Is that not real then and its only happening on enthusiast forums?

Let the shill cope... there's not much you can do. The subject was trending at n.2 I believe the day the news broke.

I don't understand the hype for this game after how bad Spider-Man 2 was and especially after seeing all the leaks.
I didn't read the full plot leak, but the game design looked very uninspired and last gen, and not much more exciting with the official trailer.

As for the plot... yeah. It can't be overstated how badly SM2 was written. I am very worried about Wolverine as a result.

Tlou2 is far less gorey than a lot of other games that have much more dismemberment or hittable zones etc.

It's how they present their violence and the audio design that does the trick.

I don't see wolvy matching the grit and realism and audio design of tlou2 nor reaching the most gorey ass game on the market, maybe on purpose like you say, it's probably gonna be gorey enough for people who don't make comparisons with other gore systems.

Time will tell.
NPC's in TLOU2 actually feel like people when you murder them. Just be happy Wolverine has dismemberment. I thought Disney may not have allowed that. So few games properly have even a decent gore system nowadays

I would love the Call of Duty campaigns if they had proper gore. Such a sanitized franchise

I'm not going to keep responding to some retard that somehow took offense to me saying that the game is "likely" not going to come out on PC day-and-date. Piss all the way off, and get a fucking life.
I'm actually quite calm. You on the other hand seem quite tense.
And i literally said what we all know. If the game was releasing day and date in more platforms we would know that by now.

Anyway...it's literally in the reveal trailer:

"In development for Playstation 5" We have known this since 2021. If it was in development for more platforms we would know that by now. Also...not a single internal studio game has released a single player game for PC day one.

Man, Sony announced Death Stranding 2 a few weeks ago. And yes, it's a first-party game (at least Sony treats it as one). A proper Sony studio is also handling the port.

I really don't understand why you'd fool yourself about that, because it's pretty clear they're not changing anything about porting their games to PC.
Sony doesn't own the Death Stranding IP, Kojima does. It's not a first party game.

This will more than likely come to the PC based on the Marvel deal, unless they restructured it somehow.

Can't wait to play a mission as mystiques paraplegic trans girlfriend, selling stickers to tourists in a riveting quest midway through the game

I've been saying Insomniac cranks out games. I don't know why people thought this would get delayed. It was somewhat playable from the leaks years ago.

Me neither.
I'm just extremelly defensive at this point. Until I saw the full game to be certain that it has no pandering bullshit, I will certainly not buy it.

You can shove a Wolverine blade up yours Sony. I will not forget what you just did with Bluepoint Studio. You ain't recovering from that this easily bitch.
That will show them!!! Hopefully the sales for Wolverine are terrible and Sony shuts down the studio......Bloody idiots

72 hours?

Saturday, 2PM (probably scheduled Tweet). Whoever wrote that doesn't know how to count.

Oh, it's Sammy. Never mind.

Sony has already clearly stated in its financial reports that Death Stranding 2 is a first-party game. In their interpretation, any game they have 100% financed is considered a first-party title. And that's exactly what happened with Death Stranding 2: it was fully financed by Sony, and they also provided support through the xDev team.

The fact that they don't own the IP doesn't change anything. They also don't own the IPs for Spider-Man or Wolverine, yet those are still considered first-party games.

If you like advanced damage systems, take a look at half sword demo on steam, their damage system is pretty much unbeaten in terms of graduality even if it can look silly and can glitch at times (consider that it was a demo pre-early access)

But you can't find another game where you break a leg and the dude try to stay balanced with animations created on the fly ala euphoria engine while screaming ala tlou2 (gargles of death included) or with better blunt head trauma simulation.

Believe me the demo is far more impressive in tech when you actuallly try it, don't judge only from videos where you see the silly looking walking characters, i have more than 200 hours between demo and early access solely for their damage system and animation system.

it doesn't have the best fidelity so don't expect dead island 2 level of details but it looks realistic enough.

It's also clear they treat the non IP owned games differently than most in-house IPs they own.

It sure is ugly and does not look like a woman but I give it a benefit of a doubt that this is missings allot of assets and testing phase only. Lets hope the final product she will look decent.
We don't know how much it has improved, but it's blatantly obvious that this isn't finished. We weren't even supposed to see that build. Hell, from what we've seen from Mystique in recent trailers she looks a LOT better than this incomplete model. But I'm sure people will stay say otherwise because reasons.

With how quick they are to have ported to the PC or not. Seems they're written in these deals.
I believe this is simply the natural "evolution" of their initiative. They started slowly, testing the market, and now that they've seen releasing games on PC isn't harming their console at all, there's no reason to stop.
