Yes, very excited. What they've shown looks to be fast and fun - possibly even more than the mainline games. Keeping an open mind till at least some hands on time with it instead of shitposting without knowing.

This game was greenlit by Shuhei Yoshida. And tone down the buzzwords on your posts.

All Live Service game reveals are "DOA" for the same 2 or 3 reasons.

- It's too purple.
- The characters aren't attractive enough.
- The market is saturated.

Has there ever been a Live Service game reveal that the "online mob" predicted to become a hit? That contingent has whiffed on every GAAS success story over the last 7 years. It started with "Fortnite is a fad".

At some point the words "I'm not sure" should enter the vocabulary.

It's not about the genre, it's about the studio and it's context.

I think the astroturfing campaign is working, it's generating FOMO... Can they deliver long term?... At this point the actual "vibes" for marathon are incredibly obfuscated.

It could reach 700K on barely 100K.... No one knows.
