Yes, on the PC, I always greet people at the beginning of the round, and the highlight is usually when someone coughs....

Game is decent. Having fun with it. More fun in solos than group. I connect with this more than I did with Arc Raiders. They just need to tweak the UI, maybe tweak some of the enemy pc health. Fuck the invisible bot health. Also add in more distinct points of interest. I looked at the roadmap, and it seems sparse. Which concerns me.
 
Thank God this is over, seems like a simple contract but it was annoying as fuck to get it done

i love the visuals of this game but my god i wish there was a setting to change how vibrant everything is. i wonder if the colorblind options do anything.
 
Done with all faction missions until they are lvl 10. The sekiguchi missions were hard especially the last one solo. Thankfully i robbed a guy earlier and i had full blue gear. The adrenaline man holy shit

The loot in this game is so fucking good

I never play solo, but fuck doing that mission with randoms. Sometimes 2 rods aren't there. And you have to do it in one run too

heh i tried it on perimeter. Took me a while. Now that im done with all faction stuff, im gonna grind 1 more level of the first one to get the next stash upgrade, because holy shit im full all the time and have to sell stuff. Also have like 65k money in my wallet.

The rods will be there just not always in the same places. Best case scenario you find both in the basement avoiding any conflict. I did that once, made it to exfil, surrounded by UESC, use my smoke to get in the ring, player appears out of nowhere and guns me down, finishes me with 2 seconds left on the clock, that hurt lol. The run where I completed it I found one on the catwalks and one inside a weapons locker.

I landed at Matienence solo. I felt like I checked every nook and cranny and only could find one. It is a dumb mission regardless. What happens if you don't start at Matienence and another team loots it? Atrocious mission design. It is the only one that has been horrid so far

"Shell primed for exploration and violence" love all the shit Oni says when starting a run. The game is so damn good top to bottom, lots that can be tweaked and added (would love to see more enemy variety for one, mutated beasts maybe? Ticks are getting boring...) but they absolutely nailed the fundamentals. It's gorgeous, the sound is immaculate, it's immersive, addictive, the lore is fantastic, the production values are way up there, wish there were more of those intro cutscenes for each faction, so slick 👌

The PvE engagements are definitely the part of the game that can be improved upon the most. The bots are fun, but fighting only bi-ped bots is too repetitive. Their AI is quite impressive, though

Is it true voice comms come through on controller? And if so, is there anyway for them to come through on the TV?

I've used the controller as my mic but I believe their voice came through TV.

Yeah I'd absolutely advise squadding up mate. Some of the quests are dead easy with a group but frustrating as fuck solo.

Had some amazing runs on Outpost today, got out every time but we had to take baby steps basically. Simply doing the contracts and managing to extract with what pitiful loot I have feels amazing.
 
Advice for Solo Players:

Stay as quiet as possible. Nothing easier to farm than other players who go guns blazing in buildings vs. AI. No problem to flank and kill them while they are shooting the AI.

Same goes for just running. Just don´t run inside buildings unless you really have to. It´s loud as fuck.

When I played a matched without a headset when I was showing the game to my girlfriend my teams voice chat came through my controller and not my monitor despite my monitor being used for game audio.

It made hearing their chat nearly impossible.
 
Are the DCON icons bugged during quests? I had some quests where i had to use DCONs and only 1 time they showed up on the map

I've heard they're bugged sometimes. I think on Perimeter at least they're they're on the small outpost building roofs near map border. Or just google the locations.
 
Man so many players are literally dog shit at this game. Like basic things.

I either get a great team of randoms or a horrible one.
