Their market share plummeted further after RDNA4 release so clearly being anti consumer also don't help...
FSR3 has these requirements:
"May not run well" They didn't have any problem with that in the past...
Only reason there is no FSR4 support on older GPUs is because they want to sell more RDNA4 GPUs to current Radeon users.
For 2025 RNDA4 sold well enough for an Radeon GPU. It was in the last quarter of the year that things went from bad to worse.
The debacle with the RDNA1 and RDNA2 end of driver support, served to kill the little trust anyone could have in the Radeon Group. And the backtracking did nothing to correct it.
That AMD still hadn't released FSR4 for RDNA3, at least, it's another major issue that eroded trust in the brand.
But then there are many other things. Redstone was promised for 2025, only released in the end of the year. With only one game supported for Ray Regeneration. And it took 3 months to get the second.
Frame Generation still has frame pacing issues, even the ML one. And Radiance cache has no games supported.
And to make things that much worse, FSR Diamond, supposedly is only for UDNA/RDNA5. Meaning that after just one year, Radeon Group already plans to discontinue support for RDNA4, just like they did with RDNA3.
Even after a whole year, there is still no support for Vulkan with RDNA4.
Meanwhile nvidia is providing support for 8 year old GPUs with the newest DLSS4, RT, etc. Only missing out on Frame Generation.
And it's Intel that is officially providing the best upscaler for RDNA2 and RDNA3.
RDNA4 was a good GPU, that had the potential to stem the bleeding. But AMD fucked up so many times, so hard, in 2025, that most people just gave up.
At this point, people are angry at AMD for all of these screw ups. But I suspect that RDNA5 will be met with something worse, apathy.
