Yoshi and the Mysterious Book will run on Unreal Engine 5.
This engine is still rare on the Switch 2, as the console might struggle to handle it. So far, only Fortnite, Cronos: The New Dawn, and Layers of Fear (2023) currently use UE5 on Nintendo's console. Thus, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book will be the first Switch 2 exclusive to run on Epic's engine.
