I agree with you 9000%. The first time I realized how much I liked the Modern look, and applied it to where I live, the outcomes were nothing short of vast improvement. I was finally able to find everything easily, and the use of white colors made the rooms naturally brighter all day. Most importantly, people appreciated it far more.

The only negative aspect in my eyes is cost of quality, but if it lasts you a lifetime, then it is a smart buy.

The couch is from Germany where I live. Can't tell you what brand it is but I think it's a german brand.



I used this

to mount the Center Speaker. Here you can see how I did it. It's easy to do.

That looks great and all but are you aware that you have those shelf brackets upside down? Just curious. They still work that way obviously.

Nah, yours is legit as hell, too. That's usable. I'm talking about ones like Syntek's setup, where it's gorgeous, but like... you can't have a collection, you can't put your feet up and lounge, you have to have a tiny TV, etc. I couldn't deal with that.

I've wondered that myself. It's interesting how some amazing setups really don't look that special because of the camera while others look gorgeous.

Well that's just a silly statement. There's nothing about modern furniture in general that makes it less practical than any other style. And kids will happily shit up any room, no matter what the decor.

Did you make this yourself? Was it a wall that you hollowed out? I like hidden televisions, but haven't been able to think of a way to hide mine, since I'm unable to wall mount it.

They output a flat sound.. So thats always 100 times better than smiley face curved speakers imo.

If you distance from your couch to the speakers isn't too big, studio monitors like these ones work awesome. Audio quality is so much better than compared to same priced "home cinema" speakers. Also 2.0/2.1 >>> 5.1

It's the usual LG "frameless" gimmick.
I own a 42SL8000, the first of the televisions that were advertized with that feature.
To me it isn't an issue (and it is a great gaming tv - maybe the best CCFL gaming tv ever made), but his bezel in real life is quite different from how it was being advertized.

Put the bed on the left in the middle between the two doors and the pc and television both on that right wall.

Won't work because the bed has a back piece and it would look terrible if it's not against a wall. I would rather not move the stuff around. Would a long hdmi cable work if I make it go out through the window and in through the door?
