I will be happy with the Sugar Bowl. I already pledged my monies for 2 tickets to whatever bowl they go to, so I will be happy with that. Houston played about as well against Tulsa as "established teams" so interesting to see where they end up this week.
There should be more to rankings than W/L records. I didn't say Arkansas sucks, I just said they're not even close to being #3 and shouldn't be in the top 10 (which they shouldn't and now likely won't be).
And yes, I'd put Wiscy behind Michigan and Michigan State who are both playing excellent ball. Michigan is underrated -- great D and Denard is special.

Colorado/Utah game has gotten surprisingly good. Utah just went for the surprise onside, didn't get it.
I'm amazed that institutions continue to sign coaches to lengthy contracts in the face of all the recent scandals. Sure, Golden did a good job at Temple and has weathered the storm this year but are you really sure he's your guy five or six years from now? Randy Shannon looked pretty hot back in 2009 and fell off a cliff immediately thereafter. It always comes down to wins and if he doesn't deliver they'll be stuck holding a Charlie Weis-size buyout.
I'm pretty sure if we beat OU, that loss will be dismissed as a fluke.
With a Bedlam win and unshared Big 12 title, our resumè will be better than any team except LSU's.

No team that loses to Iowa State ever deserves to play for the NC. Alabama and LSU are both better than you and there is no way you can even debate that.

Arkansas should only fall to #4, with two losses against really good teams. Texas A&M should be #3, they have even more losses to good teams.
I agree Bama is probably better, but I'd prefer 2 conference champs pitted against each other. But that's not what the BCS is about, so...
No team that doesn't win their conference deserves to play for the NC either. They have to choose SOMEBODY when only LSU gets in from the SEC.
That doesn't matter with the BCS. it's just to pit number 1vs2, not be fair. I hate it.

Wrong. The BCS picks the two best teams (or tries to, i hate the BCS so...) regardless of whether they win or not. There is no rule that says two teams from the same conference can't play for the national championship.
Honestly it's ridiculous. The announcers in the LSU game were saying that the voters didn't drop OSU because of the plane crash and the trauma distracted the team. Well if that's your excuse for not dropping OSU then what are they better not drop Arkansas....
