Well it was hardly the internets fault that she was taken away, that dad was obviously bat shit insane. It was a good time after (like 8 months) all that shit that the dad was arrested and then died 5 months again after that.

Can I have a link to this story? Never heard of it before.

Probably as old as the Internet, but it was my first time seeing it and got a chuckle out of me.

We write the date like that because that's how we say it. "It's November 25th, 2011" --> 11/25/2011.

Deal with it.

1. If we are talking kids around 10 years old, then it shouldn't be surprising they have never used a floppy disk.
2. I hate how some people look at this subject with a "Kids sucks today", "I can't believe they don't know what a floppy disk is" attitude.

Huh? I could have sworn that was the "We are getting old" meme. I dont think it was a knock on people not yet alive when that stuff was standard.

I love this wide spread belief that Americans don't use the metric system, because we do. All products are labeled with oz/gram, or quart/liter. Our rulers have millimeter and centimeter markings. We measure power in watts. It's just certain things, like miles, or Fahrenheit, were we rarely use the metric system. Maybe in time it will get phased out, by for now nobody cares, it's not important to everyday life, so we continue to use the system we've been taught since birth.

Although kids do suck, I always saw it this way too. Some pics give it a more tragic sense like the cassette with a pencil one.
Will our kid's kids ask what the hell a fossil fuel is or a dollar is? If I were clever, I'd start a "future kid asks" meme along those lines.

I don't get how people get Eisenburg and Cera mixed up. Their facial structures are completely different. It's like saying "Yeah, I loved Brad Pitt in American History X."

Cera is the poor man's Michael Cera, which is to say he kind of resembles Jesse Eisenberg, but is just so utterly shitty that he doesn't.
