For those uniformed souls

I'm torn, I want Tennessee to keep the streak alive because it's hilarious...but at the same time I want UK to keep Joker and their continued downward spiral into even more irrelevance.

Holy shit, what a statistic.

"Seniors from Colorado are going to win the first road game in their careers" in the last game of their careers.

UCLA IN PAC 12 Championship game!!!!!

Gonna be great when UCLA backing into the champ game lets Rick keep his job.

Honestly it's ridiculous. The announcers in the LSU game were saying that the voters didn't drop OSU because of the plane crash and the trauma distracted the team. Well if that's your excuse for not dropping OSU then what are they better not drop Arkansas....
Actually, both human polls dropped us to #6, and that's only because both Oregon and OU happened to lose. We were punished about as badly as we possibly could have been if neither of those teams lose we're probably #8.

I'm not saying it wasn't a bad loss, but out of all the non-SEC squads we have by far the best argument for playing in the MNCG.

When it's a UK fan sticking up for the SEC you know things have gotten dire.

It may possible and hopefully not but UCLA may end up 6-7
Unless a gigantic upset happens that's how they will finish up.

Edit-UCLA wins tomorrow and they probably end up in the Alamo Bowl, lose and they could end up not getting any bowl. What a perfectly mediocre conference.

I'll agree with that. I'm just saying that if Alabama beats Auburn then they should play against LSU if they beat Georgia.

He's a Kentucky fan, what does he have to cheer for besides SECSECSEC.
Basketball.

Another win! 2 wins in 3 weeks! Oh man, my heart can't take this.

So the Texas band did a "Thank ATM" formation and played "Thanks for the Memories".

What did the Texas A&M band do to respond? Form a Longhorn logo and sawed off the horns.
Classic A&M.

LSU is in even if they lose to Georgia.
Alabama is in with a win tomorrow.
It's as simple as that.

You sure about that?

The computers love Oklahoma State. If they can move up in the Harris Poll and USA Today rankings I think they still have a shot.

Edit: Yeah, you might be right. Even if they hit 3 in both polls I don't think they can overcome Alabama.

They should be. Their body of work kills any team that tries to make an argument.

indeed. they're clearly on a different level. I can't think of a team that wouldn't get beat by at least 14 points playing LSU in what would amount to a home game for them.

Only thing left is to discuss where they rank among the all-time undefeated national championship teams.

Im glad to be a Baton Rouge, LA born LSU fan, just got out of the game and it was amazing!

I too, was born there. But I didn't stay there long. Outside of LSU the city is a boring shithole. Much happier in Lafayette. Still fun going to LSU games though.

Why am I or surprised that Pitt is beating WVU? Big East deserves to die after this horrible season
I wonder if there has ever been a BCS conference that had no teams get a single vote in the AP poll at the end of the season. I think there have been times where no teams were in the top 25, not sure on actual single votes though.

Might happen if Pitt wins and then the conference all lay eggs in their bowl games.

If Rutgers goes 9-3 and doesn't get a vote in the AP poll it would clearly indicate a serious bias on the writer's part.

While I'm not a Schiano fan, if (and that's a big if) we beat UConn tomorrow, we would have no WTF losses. That's something that a lot of teams in the Top 25 can't say right now.

With that said - I'm expecting to squirm tomorrow.

Edit: I'm watching the backyard brawl right now.

Obviously Rutgers will be in the top 25 if they win out, I mentioned that the Big East would need to do what they do and perform shitty in the bowl games.

Classic A&M.

An Aggie fan somewhere actually deformed one of his Longhorns by hanging weights on its horns so they would be pointing down. Word is they were going to walk it out at halftime but decided not to after the story leaked early.

Hope you're happy, Larry Scott! Way to protect the product. Having a 6-6 team represent the Pac-12 south in the championship game... delicious.

They actually do that to longhorn bulls on farms for some reason I forget at the moment. But I am ashamed of someone doing it just for a goddamn sports team.

That's disgusting.

could LSU beat the Rams?

That questions like this even exist to be asked is an incredible insult to the skill level it takes to get into the NFL. You take only the absolute best of the best of the best to get into the NFL in the first place, and once the players get there they go from splitting time between sports and school to being full time all in career athletes at their athletic prime age.

The Rams would win by 100.
