Braxton blew the game with all the open receivers. Fickell's bonehead spike call would've been irrelevant if his QB could hit his targets.

GG Michigan fans. As someone said earlier, welcome back to the rivalry.

Meyer is gonna turn Braxton into a perennial Heisman contender
I lol'd. If OSU didn't get 2 turnovers deep in MI territory, the game would have been a blowout. Braxton was okay at times, but a "Heisman contender" he is not.

it's good to be RichRod-free.

Attending WAZZU is great preparation for real life. It teaches you not to expect too much.

Jesus was actually supposed to be born in Pullman, rather than Bethlehem. But they couldn't find three wise men and a virgin.

Go Dawgs, time to put down the Wulff. I hope Sankey rushes for 200 yards.

In Miller's defense, he's a true freshman, and completely ill-suited to the current offensive scheme.

That will change drastically next year. I'm excited.

Devier Posey has to be a 1st round pick, he's looked like a man among boys for the few weeks he's been active.

Bring on Urban Meyer. All due respect to Fickell but the team needs him coaching defense. Meyer is gonna turn Braxton into a perennial Heisman contender if he can recruit a solid wideout to complement Brown. Watching Braxton all season it's painfully obvious that they didn't even have him practice throwing the deep ball in the preseason.

It sucks to lose to those chumps, but Michigan has been a joke for long enough so I'm glad they're at least earning some respect.

I don't think the coaching staff was preparing to have Miller start. When Bauserman sucked so hard, the choice was made for them, essentially. Then the coaches found out that Braxton was wildly inaccurate. So, they started to work on his mechanics. Unfortunately, that should have been done the day he stepped on campus. When Braxton was in the pocket with time, you could almost see him thinking about all of the things he was supposed to do. Plant foot, stride, shoulders square, elbow in, etc. He needs to be drilled and take the initiative to throw a lot of footballs in the off season, so that his mechanics are all muscle memory and not forced.

Yeah but the defense gave up 277 rushing yds and let Denard Robinson of all people have his most efficient game of the season as a passer. That's why tOSU deserved to lose, not because the offense could've scored 52 and settled at 34.

The defense has been so inconsistent this yr. Miami, Indiana, Nebraska, Michigan. At least in some of those games the offense was just as bad, but tOSU does not deserve to win a game in which Denard Robinson statistically looks like Tom Brady meets Michael Vick.

Real issue was he was supposed to red shirt this year and develop while Pryor played. But that dumb fuck went and had to do dumb shit and we get this.

to be fair, the Michigan offense has only been poor in 2 games out of 12. and neither was a home game. they weren't going to stop Michigan and were only kept in the game thanks to some turnovers.

I had to double check. I didn't say he was or is, but that he will be. He's the most elusive QB as a scrambler and he's got a good arm with solid mechanics. He just needs a lot of reps, an offensive coach/coordinator who is capable and an offense that suits him (aka Urban and the spread). I guarantee you Braxton is part of the reason Urban Meyer is taking the job.

One win against a team that isn't even bowl eligible does not mean a damned thing, even if that team wears deer huntin' orange. He's a fine coach if our goal is to be a mediocre team that is usually (barely) bowl eligible. It probably is.

Look. We all knew that this season was fucked. I'm happy we ended the streak and I think that I was deliriously happy when I wrote that. However I'm not going to say fire him at the end of the year for a couple reasons.

1. He's black. We're Kentucky. If we fire him at the end of his first full season here we would never hear the end of it.

2. It's his first full season, and I'll give him a pass on being a bumbling idiot. Now if next season is this bad I don't care if we beat UL, Tenn., and end the streak against Florida. I'll want him gone.

With that being said. Barnhart needs to get the fuck out. Guy is worthless. Nobody cares about women's cross country rifle shooting or whatever olympic sport he's trying to shove down our throats this week. Put money into football, allow the program to actually grow. Paint those god-awful red vents in Rupp and get rid of Big Bertha and get us a video screen.

That felt damn good. Refs and turnovers made it closer than it should have been, but Denard was nearly perfect today. Also, Braxton in Meyer's offense scares the shit out of me.

736 days since Ohio State has beat Michigan in football (with eligible players).

Fickell on the verge of tears during this press conference. feel bad for the guy, he got put in a hard situation and thrown to the wolves, and just told good luck.
