Sammy Watkins should have came to Florida with his brother.
For many months it looked like both he and NOL would be Noles but it changed at the end of the year when it looked like UM or Wisconsin until UF swooped in.

By statistics alone, sure. 7th best...3rd best....it doesn't matter. at that point we're talking about 1 more sack or 10 less passing yards. blah blah blah....fsu is one of the best defenses in college football. no arguing that. whether statistically they are 7th or 1st, doesn't mattter

Stoops has done really incredible things as has DJ Elliot who has helped turn our DEs into sack machines. It's amazing how much better he is than Jody Allen.

Clemson is fading fast now. They lose to VT and could be unranked at the end of the season.
Over half of the defensive classes from 2008 and 2009 aren't on campus anymore for various reasons, and we've had an absolutely ridiculous number of injuries. We are literally only going to have 1 RB on the roster for spring practice. Our two starters at CB tonight: Cornelius Douglas (who was a WR until just before the OSU game) and Happiness Osunde (who was on the scout team most of the year and ended up getting hurt in the first quarter). The other guy that got a lot of playing time was described by Tuberville last week as "having lost all confidence in himself." Our defensive tackles are both under 270 pounds, and the three LBs we had available for this game were a guy that is safety sized and two true freshman (one who's been hurt for the last several weeks and one who only started playing football his junior year of high school).

TODAY, UF's defense played better than FSU's. Unless your offense is SO terrible it made our defense look like the ravens.

Part of our shit yardage was Jimbo being content to run draw plays over and over and over since UF couldn't score. Part of it was that every OL starter tonight was different than the 5 starters at the beginning of the year and a lot of it was that UF has a great D too. On the whole though, FSU's is better.

Sort of, but this coach has a LONG history of using extraordinarily coarse language with players and officials. and I mean deep-throated attacks.
He had to issue some apologies earlier this year for his behavior. From what I've seen tonight, he's still as angry as ever.

Look, I'm not trying to take away your win by saying florida is better team. This game proved we arn't. But FSU had more penalty yards than offensive yards. More 3rd and 15+ than I can remember.
The argument went from "FSU has the #1 defense!!!" to "a really good defense" to what I'm saying of "you stopped UF's offense". congrats.
